West 7th Rebrands, Prepares For New Tenants
Vestar and The Woodmont Co. have rebranded Fort Worth’s West 7th corridor to become Crockett Row at West 7th in preparation for new tenants. The five-block corridor at the southeast corner of West Seventh Street and University Drive North will also get new wayfinding signage and features and enhanced parking garages exclusive to customers.
Crockett Row at West 7th manager Vestar enlisted the leasing assistance of Woodmont to reposition the street-level retail. Woodmont senior vice president Peter Jacobsen said the rebranding is a result of the corridor’s tremendous growth.
In August, Fortune 500 company CH Robinson will relocate its Fort Worth office to 12K SF at 812 Norwood St.
West Elm will open an 11K SF home furnishings and decor store at 2869 West Seventh St. later this summer.
In January, Common Desk announced it would triple its DFW footprint with expansions into West 7th and Plano’s Granite Park. Current Common Desk locations include a Deep Ellum flagship and a Bishop Arts office.
Fort Worth-based architecture firm Bennett Benner Partners designed individual storefronts for retailers, additional landscaping and shading, and public art. A text-compliant valet system will also be installed.
