ACEP Plants HQ Roots In Irving
Irving residents are now in even better medical hands. The American College of Emergency Physicians opened its new HQ at 4950 West Royal Lane in Irving. The 60k SF building will be used for training, meetings and collaboration space.
ACEP, the oldest and largest national medical specialty organization representing physicians who practice emergency medicine, will employ about 150 execs, staff and volunteers at its new HQ.
BOKA Powell designed the building and general contractor Structure Tone Southwest built it to utilize tilt-wall panels and cost-effective materials, with special emphasis on lots of light and glass. Graphics designed by Focus EGD display ACEP’s history and mission.
Informal huddle rooms and intimate conference spaces and many other flexible spaces will allow for many functions. A hospitality room plays triple duty as an executive dining room and meeting space. Employees also have access to a walking trail.
Swearingen Realty Group handled brokerage and interiors project management. Cawley Partners served as developer, RLG Consulting Engineers provided civil and structural engineering, Purdy-McGuire provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering, and Belle Firma designed the landscape.
