Crescent Inks Two Advertising Agencies For McKinney & Olive
Saatchi & Saatchi and Team One will occupy at least 52k SF at Crescent Real Estate’s newest Uptown development, McKinney & Olive.
McKinney & Olive is Crescent's mixed-use project that features a 530k SF, 20-story Class-A tower designed by award-winning firm Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects, the same guys who created Enron’s (now Chevron’s) iconic blue-glass oval tower in Houston. It will be the first commercial building in Dallas to be designed by an architect of such acclaim since the 1980s.
Saatchi & Saatchi is Toyota’s advertising agency of record, while sister company Team One is Lexus’. The decision to expand into Dallas comes nearly two years after Toyota announced it would build a new US HQ in Plano.
The new tenants will join powerhouse law firms Gardere Wynne Sewell and Sidley Austin at McKinney & Olive when the building is completed sometime in summer 2016. The building will feature a 2.5-story Carrara-marble lobby, a one-acre piazza and community gathering space, and a rooftop garden.
Saatchi & Saatchi and Team One were repped by Cresa’s Matthew Miller while Crescent Real Estate’s John Zogg repped the owner.
