Two firms are relocating to Grapevine, the latest in a wave of activity in the city near DFW Airport.

One company is building a 14-acre facility and another is building out a 200K SF HQ in Grapevine.

Paycom Software is moving its Texas operations center to Grapevine, beginning with one 14-acre build-to-suit with a couple of hundred employees and expanding out to a 1,000-job property.

The new facility will be built across from Kubota's North American HQ, the Dallas Business Journal reports. Paycom is based in Oklahoma City and has offices in Fort Worth, Lewisville and Farmers Branch. Construction will begin next year and open in 2020.

Right on its heels, The Trade Group announced it will relocate its global HQ from 150K SF in Carrollton to 2060 Enchanted Way, Grapevine. It is breaking ground Friday on an expansion of that property, bringing it from one story to two totaling 200K SF, Exhibitor reports. The space will include warehouse and production/fabrication space plus staff offices, meeting space and an on-site café.

Grapevine has had a number of major new projects in short order, including last month's announcement of Grapevine Main, a $105M mixed-use, transit-oriented development being built along the new TEXRail, and delivery of a $115M expansion at the Gaylord Texan Resort.
