ITS Logistics Nabs $848K Incentive Package, Promises Hundreds Of Jobs In Fort Worth
A Nevada-based company will bring hundreds of tech jobs to Fort Worth upon moving into the third floor of an office tower in the West Seventh area.
ITS Logistics was granted a $848K incentive package by Fort Worth City Council earlier this week, paving the way for its new office at One West 7th, a 127K SF building at 2859 Crockett St., Dallas Business Journal reported. The company plans to move in later this year.
ITS must hire up to 339 workers at a minimum salary of $100K by Dec. 31, 2027 to access the full incentive package. At least 30% of those hires must be Fort Worth residents, and 15% of construction costs must go to business equity firms, per the DBJ. The company is also required to invest $1M in its office space and equipment.
The move comes as ITS is looking to grow its footprint in Texas. The company leased a 1M SF distribution center in North Fort Worth in 2022.
The new office will be used to scale the firm’s ContainerAI platform, which uses artificial intelligence to manage the transportation of containers, the DBJ reported.
ITS is among a number of firms bringing innovative technologies to Fort Worth.
LG Electronics recently opened its first North American production facility for electric vehicle chargers in the AllianceTexas development. The city is leveraging AI with a program called NoTraffic, which adjusts the length of lights in the case of danger or an emergency.
