KBS-owned Legacy Town Center in Plano has held onto its marquee tenant in a lease renewal and expansion.

Toyota Motor Credit Corp., the financial services and insurance arm of Toyota, expanded it space inside the Legacy Town Center III building by 27K SF and now occupies a total of 54K SF.

The West Plano office park, which was acquired by KBS in 2012, also finalized a nearly 10K SF deal with mainstay law firm GoransonBain Ausley, which has been in the area for more than 20 years.

The Legacy Town Center site includes Class-A office buildings close to the Dallas North Tollway and entertainment and restaurant hub The Shops at Legacy.

With Toyota's U.S. headquarters situated less than 2 miles away from Legacy Town Center, the deal solidifies the office park’s relationship with Toyota and its affiliated business segments in the area.

“Legacy Town Center is situated in a unique and desirable location in Plano,” KBS asset manager Brett Merz said in a statement. “We are eager to strengthen our relationship with GoransonBain Ausley and Toyota and hope they will continue to enjoy the numerous amenities that Legacy Town Center has to offer.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s Bill McClung represented GoransonBain Ausley, while Alan Wood and Wade Clark of JLL represented Toyota Motor Credit Corp. CBRE’s Dennis Barnes, Jackie Marshall and Alexandra Cullins handled the deals for KBS.

KBS owns 10 buildings and a total of 3M SF of office space in Dallas, Plano and Irving.
