These Amenities Are Headed To Iconic Dallas Building
Encore Enterprises and New York Life are pumping more than $9M worth of amenities into what was formerly Oxy Tower.
"It's a great location that is extremely visible with about 500,000 cars passing by per day," Stream Realty VP Sara Terry says of the property now known as Pinnacle Tower. "However, we very much felt that amenities were one of the key drivers for tenants and this property didn't have a modernized conference center, gym, or tenant lounge type of area to offer tenants."
Stream has tabbed Entos Design to bring a fresh look to the lower tollway property.
Sara tells Bisnow that potential tenants can expect these additions by early 2017 as well as a Starbucks kiosk. The lobby will be receiving a significant aesthetic upgrade via a new piece of modern digital, moving artwork.
"The building was originally constructed in the 1980s and we felt that it was clearly time to refresh the building," Sara says.
Part of that refreshment is the addition of an outdoor patio area that will take advantage of the significant amount of green space surrounding the property. This al fresco enhancement will be accompanied by the installment of a fast-casual restaurant to replace the mom-and-pop style café that serviced the building in previous years.
While a new tenant has not officially signed, Sara is confident the upgrades will lead to a deal shortly.
"We've had a lot of interest in the building, especially after unveiling our renovation plan," Sara says. "The upgrades are being completed as quickly as possible to take advantage of the market right now."
