We’re beginning to get really jealous of all the wonderful trips to the beach or locales with mild temps, like this shot of Transwestern managing director Brett Owens. He and his family (wife, Shannon, and 9-year-old Avery, 7-year-old Benton, and 2-year-old Josh) chilled in Crested Butte, Colo.
Holt Lunsford Commercial prez Sam Gillespie caught an 18-inch trout on the Big Lost River in Central Idaho during a special family vacation in Sun Valley celebrating his dad’s 80th birthday. Fortunately, there were no forest fires resulting from all the candles on the cake. However, keeping them all lit was a bit of a challenge.
Our DFW reporter, Tonie Auer, took a trip to Murfreesboro, Ark., where her husband Jesse, son Robert, and daughter Sarah all got wet and muddy digging for diamonds in the rain.
