Which Dallas Highways Do We Travel Most?
If you’ve driven across Dallas any time recently, it’s no surprise that LBJ, I-35, and Hwy 75 dominate the traffic counts. According to Dallas Regional Chamber figures, those three highways alone see between 100,000 and 144,000 vehicles daily, says DRC research and economic development director Ryan Tharp. The phethora of major retail and office centers along these major roads or connected corridors is to blame, he says. Other routes that provide high visibility: Preston Road in Collin County, Collins and Cooper roads in Arlington, and Northwest Highway in Dallas. Those roads see between 38,000 and 110,000 vehicles pass each day, he says. The upside: All those cars on the road provide plenty of options for businesses looking for sites.
