BOMA Dallas Wins Big: Four TOBYs
You're so vain, you probably think a property manager's favorite day is when you move in. It's not. In truth, the most anticipated time is the International TOBY Awards, which this year took place at the Los Angeles JW Marriott during the BOMA International Convention & Expo. It recognizes top building operational teams. 17Seventeen McKinney won in the 250,000-499,999 SF category. Managed by Granite Properties, the property is owned by Granite Properties and Met Real Estate. Our reporter was on the ground to snap photos of the local winners.
The team from Preston Commons (pictured) won the Renovated Building TOBY. The three-building property, owned by KBS Realty Advisors and managed by CBRE, has bike check-outs, an on-site car wash, complimentary manicures on Friday and a free shoeshine station. It's the second year in a row that the Dallas CBRE team won this award.
The CBRE management team took home a second TOBY in the Suburban Mid-Rise Office Park category for Tollway Plaza. The building is owned by CBRE Global Investors.
Hunt Corporate HQ took home the TOBY in the corporate award category. The building is managed by Hunt Office Management and owned by Hunt Consolidated.
In other BOMA Dallas kudos, Peloton Commercial Real Estate's Mark Wilshire was named the Southwest Region Member of the Year. And, Peloton's Bill Moebius is among the newest BOMA Fellows. Congrats!
