Halcyon Opens Greenville Location In Dallas As Mueller Location In Austin Is Built
Dallas' Lower Greenville just got a little hipper. Joining a long list of Austin businesses that have expanded to Dallas, Halcyon Coffee Bar + Lounge opened a 4K SF location on Greenville and Goodwin avenues in the former Cafe Brazil.
The lounge serves coffee, cocktails, comfort food and s’mores that could change your life. The Dallas menu will also have flatbreads and an expanded brunch menu.
Halcyon, founded in Austin in 2001 by partners John Long and Kris Hardy, has locations in San Antonio. The partners have plans to open a San Marcos, Calif., location and a second Austin location in Mueller Town Center.
In February, Hardy told CultureMap Austin that after working on the Mueller location for three years, the developer had not broken ground. Halcyon’s website shows the Mueller location originally set to open in 2016. Last Tuesday, Community Impact reported that construction started in January and the location will open this spring.
Falcon Realty Advisors’ Michael Walters and Madison Partners’ Jon Hetzel negotiated the Dallas deal.
