Mark Cuban, Live Nation Team Up For Concert Venue Next To The Mavericks Training Facility
Dallas Mavericks owner and businessman Mark Cuban is taking on the music scene after conquering the worlds of business, sports and television.
Cuban is partnering with Live Nation to open The HiFi, a 1,000-person concert venue in the Dallas Design District, a spokesperson for Live Nation Clubs & Theater told Bisnow in a statement Tuesday.
The 25K SF venue is set to open in May inside a Stemmons Freeway building on a 10-acre site Cuban purchased in 2016 to house the Dallas Mavericks' practice facility. The HiFi will be in 1323 North Stemmons Freeway, which has been a furniture store and the HQ of Which Wich, CultureMap reports.
The new concert venue is next to the basketball team's facilities, Live Nation confirmed.
Cuban is involved as a partner and intends to work alongside the venue to "develop mutually beneficial opportunities at The HiFi," the spokesperson said.
