New York-based investor DLC Management is purchasing one of the largest shopping centers in North Texas, Village at Allen, from Prudential Insurance and MGHerring Group. The sale is not yet closed, but it is set to wrap up before the end of the year, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Prudential and MGHerring are selling the 800K SF retail development one year after having sold the Village at Fairview to Lincoln Property Co. The sale of Village at Allen has created quite a buzz in the industry. The center sits on one of the busiest retail intersections in the metro. Until now, the only property DLC Management held in DFW was Whiterock Marketplace.
