Drew Making Dough

Cushman & Wakefield's Drew McManus is going to be making some dough on this deal. Sans the gluten. We spoke with Drew fresh from his big deal with Udi's 184,500 SF lease at Stapleton Business Center. The company will operate a bakery and distribution hub from the facility at 4735 Florence St., a move that consolidates five Udi's facilities in Metro Denver into this one project, according to an SEC filing with Udi's parent company Boulder Brands. (Do these kinds of deals get sealed with pastries?) "This kind of works best for them," says Drew. "There wasn't a ton of product on the market for us to pursue."

Now, for Drew, it's on to other things, including leasing the under-construction 120k SF collaborative office project Industry Devner at 3001 Brighton Blvd, which will also include 225 apartment units and 60 brownstones set for a February delivery. And he's also put deals under his belt in recent weeks, including Recycled Materials Co, which inked 16,700 SF at 555 W 48th Ave. Activity has been "phenomenal. It's the best it's been in a long time," Drew says.
