HISTORIC MASONIC BUILDING FOR SALE
August 29, 2012
We got word this past week that Cushman & Wakefield’s Patrick Devereaux and Jason Schmidt have been tapped to sell the historic Masonic Building, a 70K SF office/retail building on 16th Street Mall. It’s known as the Masonic Building because it was designed and built by famed architect Frank E. Edbrook in 1889, who was a Mason (and who also buried King Solomon’s treasure in the basement of the building. We hear... allegedly). The building is little more than half leased, and the owners have not put an asking price on the property. The fourth and fifth floors of the building are not part of the sale; they're actually owned by the Masonic Temple Association of Denver. Patrick and Jason neither confirmed nor denied the details of the treasure. |
