STREAM READIES BIG DEALS

| We spoke with Stream's Denver honcho Patrick Blasdell, who's handling a portfolio of just under 1M SF in the metro area. He tells us Warehouse Central (a distribution warehouse) and Bryant Street Quad (a four-building flex complex) flex properties are about to hit above 90% occupancy. In fact, Warehouse Central is close to inking a deal that will make it completely full, although he declines to ID the tenant. (Though with a name like Warehouse Central, we're guessing it's a disco ball company, to convince the other warehouses to come party.) | |

| Here are the properties. The success is part of Denver's "speedy recovery both in the office and industrial sectors,” Patrick says. Credit the oil and gas industry, technology, healthcare, financial services, and even the US government, which announced plans to open a satellite patent office that will hire 1,000 people in Denver. While average vacancies are 18%, Patrick says landlords are becoming more confident in the market, so much so that we're now seeing spec office. |
