Denver Rated No. 1 Best Place To Live (Of Course It Is)
We always knew it, but it's nice to see some outside confirmation: U.S. News & World Report ranks Denver as the best place to live out of the largest 100 cities in the country (and Colorado Springs is No. 5).
The magazine weighed various metrics to come to that conclusion, such as the job market, value for the cost of living, and quality of life.
USNWR also noted that Denver is a city of transplants: Between 2010 and 2014, the city experienced one of the largest influxes of domestic migrants in the country. Also, Denver's population is fairly young, with Millennials making up more than 20% of residents. [USNWR]
