Kentwood Real Estate Launches Commercial Company
Residential real estate agency Kentwood Real Estate has launched a new commercial real estate company to serve all segments of CRE.
The new boutique company was created by Kentwood Real Estate CEO Peter Niederman, who also serves as CEO of Kentwood Commercial, Senior Vice President David Morrison, Senior Vice President Karen Landers Zeile, Senior Vice President Mike Fickinger, Senior Vice President Rodney Gustafson and Retail Broker Associate Matt Anton.
“For the last eight years, Karen has been our only commercial broker who operated from our Kentwood City Properties’ office near Union Station,” Niederman said. “When Kentwood Real Estate was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway, we realized the additional opportunity to create a commercial brokerage division.”
The boutique firm will be able to build stronger relationships with its clients than most large commercial real estate companies, which are designed to handle large national multi-market tenants and institutional property owners, Niederman said. Smaller companies have local relationships they have developed on a transactional basis.
“Our commercial brokers have significant relationships in the community and a long history of experience in the local commercial market,” Niederman said. “Kentwood residential agents and Kentwood Relocation Services can provide referral and introductions to numerous business decision-makers and executive clients.”
