WeWork Labs To Open In The Hub In RiNo
WeWork is launching its business arm focused on supporting early-stage startups and corporate innovation in Denver this August.
WeWork Labs' first Denver location will be at WeWork’s space in The Hub at 3601 Walnut St. in River North.
“Denver has developed an ecosystem that embraces entrepreneurs and is committed to supporting the next generation of thriving businesses,” WeWork Labs Expansion Director Bailey Dodds said. “We see WeWork Labs as a platform that will arm Denver founders with the global resources they need to grow and succeed and look forward to bringing together key players across the region to further elevate this startup community.”
WeWork Labs, which will be co-located with the Flatiron School, will have a dedicated space to house up to 30 startups. The space will be custom designed for members to collaborate and grow their businesses. As part of the WeWork Labs membership, which starts at $325, startups will be given access to the benefits and services that come with a full WeWork membership.
Labs locations are equipped with dedicated Labs managers who have backgrounds in either entrepreneurship, venture capital, or incubators and accelerators to guide members through custom programming, mentorship and networking tools. The Labs managers build out a custom curriculum for each startup that includes a combination of one-on-one teaching and group workshops with local mentors.
“Denver is one of our fastest-growing markets in the U.S. with incredible demand from businesses of all sizes,” WeWork General Manager for Colorado Nathan Lenahan said. “Through Labs, we will take this support of Denver’s startup ecosystem to the next level.”
