Bitewell, the company that makes a healthy-eating app, is relocating its headquarters to Denver. The company recently signed a five-year lease for a 14K SF space at The Hub North in Denver’s River North business district.
JLL’s Guy Lachman and Trevor Curtis represented Bitewell in the transaction. JLL’s James Roupp, Julie Rhoades and Maddy Stevenson also represented the landlord. The Hub North property is managed by Cole Taylor.
“It’s imperative that our space embodies our mission and ethos. We believe in preventative healthcare,” Bitewell co-founder and CEO Samantha Citro Alexander said in a press release. “Our goal is to transform healthcare from a sick care system to a well-care system with a focus on food-as-medicine. Our new headquarters will be a functional case study that showcases how the bitewell mission can come to life inside any company and any facility.”

Hawkeye INVSCO sold a 101K SF retail portfolio in Littleton for $15M to an undisclosed investor.
The portfolio includes the 47K SF Marketplace at Ken Caryl, at 10143 West Chatfield Ave., the 33K SF Columbine Plaza at 6671-6745 Ken Caryl Ave. and Marina Pointe Shopping Center at 7444 West Chatfield Ave., a 19 K SF property.
Cushman & Wakefield brokers Jon Hendrickson, Aaron Johnson and Mitch Veremeychik represented the seller.

International Workplace Group, a global flexible workspace provider, announced plans to open five new locations in Castle Rock, Greeley, Fort Collins, Evergreen and Louisville this week.
“We are so excited to bring so many new centers to Colorado,” IWG Americas CEO Wayne Berger said in a press release. “The state is booming with great business opportunities and we are thrilled to provide them with high quality flexible workspaces.”

505Design, an architecture firm based in Boulder, was acquired by the national design firm Cooper Carry this week. 505Design specializes in mixed-use, retail, residential and environmental graphic design, according to a press release.

St. John Properties broke ground on an 81-acre mixed-use business community in Broomfield called Simms Technology Park. The park will feature a 600K SF office and flex research and development space across three buildings. The final development plan includes 14 pad sites for businesses that could support upward of 2,000 jobs.

Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate opened a new flagship office inside Hotel Clio in Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood. The office will be home to the firm’s high-end brokers while other members continue to serve the downtown core market from SSF’s office at The Coloradan at Union Station.
