HRE Quebec LLC sold a three-story office building at 5600 S. Quebec St. in Greenwood Village to 5600 S Quebec LLC for $9M.
HRE Quebec LLC, which is associated with financial services holding company Hilco Global, purchased the building for $18M in 2018, according to county records.
Property records for 5600 S. Quebec St. match that of Dallas-based Good Signature Management, a property management company. The address for 5600 S Quebec LLC is also owned by Kenneth M Good Jr. and Christina F Good. Ken Good is the CEO and founder of Good Signature Management.
The Class-B office building was built in 1974 and renovated in 2019, according to the property listing on LoopNet.
LEASES
Grand Peaks has leased 93 units within its forthcoming luxury multifamily community, Skyline at Highlands, to Sonder, a short-term rental firm.
Located at 2501 W. 26th Ave., Skyline is looking to pre-lease the remainder of its 533 units ahead of its June opening.
The 93-room hotel marks Sonder’s fourth project in LoHi. Guests will have access to an array of the apartment community’s amenities, including a pool and hot tub, fitness center and open park spaces.
CONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT
WellPower, Alliance Construction Solutions and Davis Partnership Architects have broken ground on a housing project at 5097 W. 10th Ave. in Denver.
The goal of the 60-unit multifamily residential building is to provide safe and supportive housing for chronically homeless individuals.
The three-story building will offer 50K SF of affordable and supportive recovery housing. Key features include wide hallways, ample natural light and communal spaces. The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2025.
PEOPLE
CBRE Denver promoted two members of its advisory and transaction services team to senior vice president: Blake Harris and Nic Weld.
Harris specializes in office and lab/research and development landlord representation and sales, focusing on working with institutional landlords and investors to develop and implement leasing strategies in the Northwest and Boulder submarkets.
Weld co-leads a team of six professionals that specialize in corporate tenant representation throughout Metro Denver and on a portfolio-wide basis.
THIS AND THAT
For the first time in six years, Boulder has a new hotel. Moxy Boulder, located at 1247 Pleasant St. in the University Hill neighborhood and near the University of Colorado campus, opened its doors to guests on May 23.
The 189-room hotel features 10K SF of ground-floor retail space, 5.3K SF of indoor and outdoor events space, bar and lounge areas and a publicly accessible courtyard. It is being managed by Vision Hospitality Group.
Denver-based The Nichols Partnership Inc., with funding from BMC Investments, was the Moxy Hotel’s developer.
