Denver And Aurora Among Fastest-Growing Cities Post-Recession
Among large US cities, Denver and Aurora both rank in the top five for fastest economic growth since the end of the recession, according to a recent report by WalletHub—No. 4 and No. 5, respectively. The Colorado cities were topped only by Austin; Bakersfield, CA; and Charlotte.
To identify the US cities that grew the most rapidly between 2009 and 2015, WalletHub compared 515 US cities across 14 key metrics, including population growth rate, college-educated population growth and unemployment rate decrease. The company produced separate rankings for large, midsize and small cities.
