Delaware Investor Enters Denver By Snapping Up 3 MOBs
Anchor Health Properties is entering the Denver market with the acquisition of three medical office buildings for a total of $18M.
The Wilmington, Delaware-based company is buying the 21,600 SF Cherry Hills Medical Plaza at 3535 South Lafayette St.; the 22,300 SF Highlands Ranch Medical Plaza I at 9330 South University Blvd.; and the 17,700 SF Highlands Ranch Medical Plaza II at 9331 South Colorado Blvd.
Anchor Health said the transaction was on behalf of Chestnut Healthcare Partners, a healthcare real estate equity fund focused on MOBs nationwide. Until this deal, Anchor Health only had a presence on the East Coast and in Tennessee.
“The high growth demographics of the Denver area lend themselves well to increasing medical services," Anchor Health Chief Investment Officer James Schmid said.
