Becknell Buys Second Parcel At Nexus At DIA
Becknell Industrial has acquired 39.81 acres at Nexus at DIA, a joint venture project between Schuck Communities and CH Thompson Co.
Becknell plans to announce its plans for the property at 84th Avenue and Quintero Street in Commerce City shortly.
“Commerce City is excited to continue to welcome new developments to the Nexus at DIA site,” Commerce City Mayor Sean Ford said. “The recent completion of the Tower Road widening project provides an important connection for local businesses and makes the region even more attractive for future economic opportunities.”
It is Becknell’s second acquisition within Nexus at DIA. Construction of a 540,800 SF build-to-suit for GE/Haier Appliance is nearing completion on that 38.8-acre site, which Becknell acquired in April.
“Becknell’s second acquisition within Nexus at DIA further confirms the park’s presence as a premier industrial park in the northeast corridor and represents the continued demand from developers and large corporate users to Nexus’ ideal location,” said Cushman & Wakefield Managing Director Drew McManus, who, with Bryan Fry and Mike Viehmann, represented the buyer.
