Food Equipment Firm Grabs Denver Infill Industrial Space
BSI, a food service equipment specialist, inked a lease for 117K SF at Hub 25, a recently completed industrial property at 601 East 64th Ave. in Denver, taking the entirety of Building A. “BSI recognized the advantages of an infill location that's accessible for both customers but also the company’s labor force,” CBRE senior vice president Tyler Carner said.
The company relocated from an area affected by the National Western Center redevelopment project. "Remaining in a central location was important to employees and leadership alike,” Carner said. Along with senior vice president Jeremy Ballenger, Carner repped the developer of the property and landlord, Denver-based Westfield Corp. Cushman & Wakefield's Steve Hager and Matt Trone repped the tenant.
The 421K SF Hub 25 is a master planned industrial park that delivered in Q4 2016. BSI makes ZGuards (its brand of food guards), but also offers counter systems, sinks/floor troughs, carts and other food display or merchandising systems for restaurants nationally.
