Arapahoe Square Development Guidelines Nearly Complete
Denver's Community Planning and Development office anticipates completing draft guidelines for development in Arapahoe Square by the end of this year. The area, spanning 20th Street and Park Avenue roughly between Lawrence and Tremont streets, wasn't rezoned with the rest of the city in 2010, and has no guidelines, despite its proximity to Downtown. Other non-historic areas that require design guidelines include Cherry Creek North and the Golden Triangle neighborhood, the Denver Post reports. After the draft guidelines are complete, they'll be available for public comment, and go to the City Council for approval in June. [DP]
