CSU To Build New Design Center
Colorado State University is planning a new 40k SF design center, which will provide creative space for students and faculty in interior design, landscape architecture, art, engineering, design merchandising and construction management. It will house design studios, fabrication and computer labs, classrooms and presentation spaces, the Denver Business Journal reports.
The school announced the development after Nancy and Curt Richardson—co-founders of Fort Collins-based Otter Products, parent of the Otterbox line of mobile-device cases, and Blue Ocean Enterprises—pledged more than $8M towards the center. The facility will open in early 2019. [DBJ]
