Dale Carnegie Wants To Grow In Denver

Dale Carnegie wants to expand its Colorado presence with new offices in Northern Colorado and Colorado Springs.

Leadership training company Dale Carnegie is planning to create a stronger presence in Denver as its franchisee takes on a new partner and opens additional offices.

An equity partner would allow franchisee Cheri Vargo to take advantage of the growth potential of the Denver market, Dale Carnegie Senior Vice President of Franchising John Covilli said.

A core component of Dale Carnegie’s five-year growth strategy centers on positioning existing profitable territories and operations for resale in North America. Dale Carnegie is committed to growing a robust business based on the brand’s proven legacy, processes and systems, according to the company.

“We’re looking for the kind of partner that would allow her to invest and grow in the market because it’s such a good market for us,” Covilli said. “We’re mapping out where the people who use our training programs come from to make sure she’s in the best locations based on the client base.”

Dale Carnegie’s existing metro Denver location is at 7535 East Hampden Ave. between downtown and the Denver Tech Center. The company is seeking locations to serve Northern Colorado and Colorado Springs, as well as downtown Denver.

“[The market is] ranked seventh in the country for employment gains since 2016, and unemployment has dropped to 2.5%,” Covilli said. “There are a lot of startup businesses there, and startup businesses need a lot of training, strategy and development of their people.”
