Western Union Takes 246K SF In Denver For Global HQ
Western Union signed a 246K SF lease at Prime West Cos.' One Belleview Station, 7001 East Belleview Ave., in Denver. The payment services giant will move into the building, which will be its new global headquarters, in November 2018.
Western Union joins Eide Bailly LLP, Prime West, Janiczek Wealth Management, Alacer Gold, TD Ameritrade and Ruth’s Chris Steak House at the 318K SF One Belleview Station.
The lease brings the spec development to 100% occupancy.
One Belleview Station is part of Belleview Station, a 42-acre, transit-oriented campus with direct access to the Belleview Station light rail platform. Upon completion, Belleview Station will have over 2.2M SF of office space, 250K SF of retail, 2,000 apartments and condo units, two hotels and over five acres of plazas and open space.
“Demand for transit-oriented office is at an all-time high in southeast Denver,” Cushman & Wakefield Managing Director Ryan Stout said.
“There has been immense interest in One Belleview Station, leading Prime West and Gensler to put in motion plans for another 360K SF spec office building, with 25K of retail, planned to deliver in 2020.”
Stout, along with colleague Nate Bradley, represented Prime West. Alec Wynne with Avison Young represented Western Union.
