Xero Moves Headquarters To Circa Building
Technology company Xero has opened its new Denver headquarters office on the top floor of the four-story Circa Building on Platte Street.
The 30K SF space will enable Xero to accommodate about 300 employees. Xero’s office space has an espresso machine, table tennis and a putting green. Xero’s employees can choose a work area that suits them based on any given day or task at hand.
Developed by Unico Properties, the 96K SF Circa Building is certified LEED Platinum. The building’s contemporary design reflects the historic structures found along Platte Street — including the Root and Zang buildings, which also are owned by Unico.
Key features of The Circa Building include a reservable multifunction event space, a common outdoor seating area, a mezzanine social space and a 50-person auditorium and screening room. Secure, heated bike parking and spa-like locker rooms and showers are also included.
“The Circa Building was built for forward-thinking companies like Xero who are taking Denver to the next level,” Unico Vice President and Regional Director Austin Kane said. “As a community, we’re embarking on a firsthand chapter of growth, building upon the rich history of Platte Street and the surrounding area while forging our own path.”
Denver has become one of the most attractive cities for tech talent. Last year, Denver added more than 5,000 tech jobs, and the city’s startups raised more than $500M in venture capital funding.
