Dealin' Doug Adds 4 Car Brands To Motorplex At Centerra
Moreland Auto Group has purchased a 15-acre parcel at the Motorplex at Centerra where it plans to add four automobile brands.
Moreland Auto Group, headed by “Dealin’ Doug” Moreland, will build a regional Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram dealership at the southern end of the Motorplex bordering Interstate 25 in Loveland. The project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2021.
The move will bring the total number of new car brands from eight to 12, as well as used-car retailer CarMax. Off I-25 and Crossroads Boulevard within the 3,000-acre master-planned Centerra, the Motorplex is home to the largest selection of new and used cars and trucks in northern Colorado, with more than 100 acres of automotive retail and service space.
“We’re pleased that Moreland Auto Group has chosen to bring four new brands to the Motorplex at Centerra,” said Centerra General Manager David Crowder, who also is vice president of community development for McWhinney, which developed the property. “The Motorplex at Centerra offers customers an unmatched selection of new and used cars and trucks, and the addition of Moreland Auto Group’s Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and RAM brands further solidifies the Motorplex at Centerra as northern Colorado’s premier car-buying and vehicle-service experience.”
In addition to the Motorplex, Centerra has northern Colorado's first lifestyle center, The Promenade Shops at Centerra; UCHealth-Medical Center of The Rockies; and The Marketplace at Centerra. The community also is home to High Plains Environmental Center, which oversees 275 acres of wetlands, open space and reservoirs within Centerra, and Chapungu Sculpture Park, a 26-acre park with more than 80 stone sculptures throughout.
