Edgewater Village to Have Grocery Anchor
Atlanta-based Trinity Development says it's about to strike a deal with an unamed "natural grocer" to be the anchor of its mixed-use property, Edgewater Village, at 20th Avenue and Depew Street in Edgewater. Groundbreaking on the project is scheduled for fall, and besides a 35k SF grocery store and other retail, it will include townhouses and 100 apartments. There used to be a grocery store on the site—King Soopers—but it moved more than a decade ago, the Denver Post reports. The city owns the property, but will sell it to the developer if 50k SF of retail is leased. [Denver Post]
