Sterling Ranch Lands Two Retail Tenants
A brewery and a coffee shop are opening soon at Sterling Ranch, a master-planned community in northwest Douglas County south of downtown Denver.
Grist Brewing Co. and Atlas Coffee will provide their craft products in the community’s first commercial building, the Sterling Center, opening this fall.
“These two companies will be the perfect fits for the community we are working so hard to create,” Sterling Ranch Development Co. Chief Operating Officer Brock Smethills said. “Both bring great experience in delivering Colorado-crafted products in an atmosphere conducive to community connectivity, a mission we similarly hold for the Sterling Center.”
The Sterling Center also will house an 8K SF location for UCHealth, a partnership announced last year. It will be the first healthcare provider to offer urgent-care treatment and walk-in, outpatient services to residents in the area, a need which has been expressed by Chatfield Valley residents for several years.
In the 10 months since its grand opening, Sterling Ranch has grown significantly. It is on track for a total investment of more than $500M in 2018. Infrastructure investment has been the most significant to date, with roads, water systems, and electrical and technology infrastructure already built out for its entire Providence village neighborhood.
At completion, Sterling Ranch will be home to about 36,000 residents with more than 12,000 homes, schools, churches, recreation centers, libraries and expanded commercial and retail development, providing much-needed services to residents in northwest Douglas County.
