The Squeeze is on Retail Tenants
Retail space in greater Denver—at least the high-quality space—is getting tight, CBRE SVP Dan Miller, a tenant rep specialist, tells us, which is giving an edge to retail landlords. "I'd say that the Denver retail market is leaning towards the landlord, given the limited supply of great space," he says. "But national credit retailers still carry their weight as it relates to rent, tenant improvements and other deal aspects." CBRE recently tapped Dan to join its Greenwood Village office, doing tenant rep for national and regional chains throughout Colorado. Before coming to CBRE, Dan was a partner in retail brokerage with Sullivan Hayes.
