What Now For Denver Retail? Find Out Next Month
Every other property type has made a robust recovery in Denver, but what about retail? The speakers at our Denver Retail & Hospitality event July 13 in Lone Tree will take up the question with gusto.
Park Meadows senior general manager Pamela Kelly, who will be a speaker, tells us her outlook is positive for retail in the Denver market. She expects to see retail expansion as e-commerce retailers add brick-and-mortar locations to their platforms in the same manner that brick-and-mortar retailers added websites and e-commerce to their sales platform.
"The larger properties that pay close attention to the customer experience have and will do better in economic uncertainty and a highly competitive marketplace," she says.

Retail expansion in high-quality neighborhood centers also will be positive, as these areas are desirable to consumers, Pamela says. "New retail developments will need to offer more than just duplication of existing retail. Existing major retail projects have some opportunity for expansion, as well as diversification, as the greater Denver metro market grows."
Pamela will join other expert speakers at our Denver Retail & Hospitality event beginning at 7:30am July 13 at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Sign up here.
