Office Space Of The Future: Greener Than Ever
Millennials are paying more attention to sustainability than any previous generation of workers. Hear more about how that's impacting office space at our Denver Office of the Future event on March 24 at the Ritz-Carlton Denver.
Green Spaces founder Jennie Niven (on the right, she'll be a speaker at the event) tells us that in the future many offices will have designated electric charging stations and carsharing spots, ample bike parking and living walls; utilize beautiful reclaimed furniture; and be powered by alternative energy. Denver's Green Spaces, the nation's first green co-working space, has all of these features.
Jennie also says that rooftop gardens enriched with on-site composting are also great features, and she expects to see more of them. "These rooftop gardens help with water runoff and cooling the building, and offer the much-needed relaxing, fresh air space so many offices lack," she explains. Green is a literal motif at the Green Spaces interior space (pictured), which stresses the importance of working among living plants.
Our speakers will have more to say about cutting-edge office space at our Denver Office of the Future beginning at 7:30am on March 24 at the Ritz-Carlton Denver. Sign up here.
