Denver's Women Leading Real Estate Look Forward While Reaching Back
This year's group of outstanding Bisnow Denver Women Leading Real Estate are a demonstration of what people can achieve when they help one another.
With a focus on mentorship and on the industry's rising stars, the 2024 Women Leading Real Estate program shines a light on women who are making an impact as they come up in their careers, and those whose presence is deeply felt as they continue to broaden already successful careers.
Women are making strides across commercial real estate, with Bisnow's research showing an increase in the number of women on boards at top real estate firms nationwide reaching nearly 32% in 2023. That number was 29% in 2022. Ten women serve as CEOs, up from six a year earlier.
There is still progress to be made, however, and the honorees this year know that to make change, mentorship is crucial.
“By sharing my unique story with young individuals, my hope is to alleviate any doubts and to inspire, make a positive impact and contribute to the development of future leaders,” said Annie Liston, director of operations at Berkadia and a 2024 WLRE honoree.
This year's Denver Women Leading Real Estate, profiled here, will be honored at a special breakfast event June 26.
