Sharp Building Bought By Credit Suisse For €56M
The Sharp Building on Hogan Place has been bought for over €56.3M by Credit Suisse on behalf of an institutional investor.
Developed by McGarrell Reilly for a reported €20M, the six-storey office block includes around 45K SF of office space and a ground floor café, as well as 40 car parking spaces.
Completed earlier this year, the building had been pre-let by HWBC and Knight Frank to healthcare provider Perrigo at a rent of €55/SF. The coffee shop is leased to Art of Coffee at €25/SF.
The scheme, which replaced an office building developed by Sean Reilly of McGarrell Reilly in the early 1990s, has LEED Platinum, BER A3 and WiredScore Platinum ratings.
Earlier this year, the Irish Independent reported that Google had been looking at the possibility of buying the building.
