It's A Landlords Market: Suburban Rents Will Soar
Tenants looking out of town for good value office space had better think again.
Dublin suburban tenants face a 12% to 14% hike in rents at their next review, a listed-sector real estate analyst is claiming as city centre rents drag up the price in out-of-town alternatives.
Goodbody real estate analyst Colm Lauder said that demand for offices in the Sandyford/Leopardstown area, peaking at €30/SF, is still far short of the €65/SF recorded in the city centre, the Irish Independent reports.
Goodbody argued that that Dublin fringe city-centre office rents could show growth of 10% this year. Suburban rents could add another 4% to 6% before the end of the year.
