Marginal Schemes Aren't Marginal Any More In Dublin's South Docklands
Kennedy Wilson has secured planning permission for an 87K SF office development at Hanover Quay, in Dublin south docklands.Â
The development follows acquisition of the warehouses in July, in a joint venture with the National Asset Management Agency.
The announcement comes just weeks after Kennedy Wilson Europe Chief Operating Officer Peter Collins told Bisnow that Dublin’s market is strong enough to support the kind of schemes that only recently would have been regarded as marginal, such as Hanover Quay.
The 1780s building will be transformed into a modern large floorplate office building with water views over both Hanover Quay and Grand Canal Docks. Kennedy Wilson expects the unique blend of modern office layout within a warehouse setting will appeal to a variety of occupiers.
Hanover Quay is located next to Kennedy Wilson’s Capital Dock development.
