Lisa R. Hurd serves as Executive Vice President at Atlanta-based real estate investment and development firm The RADCO Companies. As the co-head of the RADCO Investment division, Lisa oversees Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Dispositions for the firm. Lisa’s team structures and raises private equity capital, sources creative and accretive debt, manages investment performance, debt, and investor relations for all assets under management, and oversees dispositions activity within RADCO’s multifamily, JV equity, and hotel portfolio. Lisa has spent her entire career at RADCO and has held multiple roles within the firm during its unprecedented growth following The Great Recession. Beginning her career as an Asset Manager, Lisa oversaw the operations, renovation, repositioning, and ultimate disposition of 5,000 apartment units in multiple markets. She also has worked in both Capital Markets and Acquisitions Analytics, where she underwrote hundreds of potential investment opportunities to expand RADCO’s multifamily portfolio. In her most recent role as Vice President of Capital Markets, Lisa raised more than $800 million in private equity capital and sourced over $3 billion in debt to finance RADCO’s investments while providing best in class investor relations management for RADCO’s network of over 1,000 high net worth investors. In addition to Lisa’s role at RADCO, she works with several organizations focusing on female empowerment and social equity. In 2016, Ms. Hurd co-founded Real Estate Network Empowering Women, Inc. (RENEW), an initiative to inspire, empower, and advance women in commercial real estate finance. After several years as Co-President, she still serves on the board of directors in an advisory capacity. She is also a board member and serves as Chairwoman of Resource Development for Cool Girls, Inc, a non-profit organization seeking to end the cycle of poverty, low self-esteem, and teen pregnancy for Atlanta girls. Lisa also is an active board member of Open Doors, an initiative led by the Atlanta real estate community with a mission to eradicate homelessness. Lisa also sits on the board of The RADCO Companies and serves as Treasurer of The Radow Family Charitable Foundation. In 2018, Ms. Hurd was featured as a “Woman to Watch” in commercial real estate finance by Globe Street’s Real Estate Forum.

Will Lovell, a native of Atlanta, is a senior business development officer at Stewart Title Guaranty Company. In his role, Will is responsible for ensuring smooth commercial real estate closings while maintaining and cultivating new business relationships across the country. Prior to joining Stewart, he was a partner at Hartman Simons & Wood in Atlanta where he specialized in commercial real estate law. Will holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, a MBA from Ohio State University’s Fischer Business School and a J.D. from Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law. Will is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Real Estate Group of Atlanta (REGA) and the Capital City Club. When he isn’t closing deals, he enjoys spending time with his wife Susannah and their three girls and participating in outdoor activities.

Jerry McGaughy is the President and Managing Director of Epic Community Impact Fund. He has been involved in advocating for Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Funds from the beginning. Following passage of CDFI Fund enabling legislation, he was an early adopter and worked to spread the good news about the benefits of becoming a CDFI. With over 12 years of community lending and investment experience, and over five years of community development consulting, Jerry was the Founder of Atlanta-based BusinessLINC Community Loan Fund dedicated to providing loans and technical assistance for community development in underserved areas. He also worked to both develop and manage the National BusinessLINC Coalition in Washington, D.C., a joint initiative of the Clinton Administration and the National Business Roundtable. Jerry rounded out his extensive experience with CDFIs by becoming a CDFI Fund grant reviewer, evaluating applications using the CDFI Fund’s establishing review criteria including such factors as community development performance, business strategy, marketing analysis, management capacity, and financial health and viability. Recently, Jerry facilitated a joint venture partnership with a global real estate private firm to create the Epic/Virtua Opportunity Zone Fund I, LP a $100M Opportunity Fund to provide investments in multi family, mixed-use, and commercial development projects located in Atlanta’s designated Opportunity Zone communities. Jerry attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. where he received his BA in Finance and Economics.
