Why You Should Attend This Event

Why This Matters:

The Multifamily sector in Atlanta has long been at the forefront, if not the front of the line, of preferred area asset types in the market favored by investors. Over the past 12-24 months, dark clouds in the forms of supply coming on market, financing and meeting loan services obligations - issues that have impacted other asset classes notably - have formed in spots over the sector. However, new product coming to the market seems to be slowing after a 5th consecutive quarter of declines in the number of units in the development pipeline. Additionally, metro area occupancy rose in Q2 of 2024 for the first time since 2021. Combined with the 50 basis point cut from The Federal Reserve in September, several key challenges seem to be alleviating in pressure.

This event will discuss how to keep momentum moving forward. It will address key strategies to lease communities faster, and how to minimize the concessions being offered. Our panelists will detail investment strategy amid the amount of supply that has come to market, and finding value today. The event will further detail the momentum of construction starts, and the latest development trends for the next slate of projects coming online.

What You'll Learn:

  • How are property managers and owners marketing and leasing the supply that remains vacant in the market today?
  • What levers can be pulled to manage and mitigate operational costs to boost asset performance?
  • How are investors finding value in the acquisition and development landscape with supply dynamics in consideration?
  • What momentum exists in the new construction pipeline, and where sort of growth can be anticipated in 2025?
  • What are the latest trends in design and construction to deliver successful projects with immediate leasing potential?
