John Barker, Jr., SIOR has been a commercial real estate professional for the last 20 years, providing companies with expertise in commercial real estate and development. John has completed millions of square feet of development-related projects from build-to-suit and sale/leasebacks to construction program and project management.

Charley has had a 40-year career in commercial real estate development and construction. During that time, he has built some of the most significant projects in the Carolinas. He has also started several unique operating / management companies based around New Forum’s Community Development expertise.

Grey focuses on the development, brokerage and leasing of office, medical office and infill residential projects. Previous experience includes serving as a partner at Mark Pierce Poole Properties (2001-2008), senior vice president of the Trammell Crow Company (1998-2000) and director of office leasing at Faison Associates (1992-97). Grey, along with Patrick Pierce and Jensie Teague, founded Selwyn Property Group in 2009. Since his first industry position at Childress Klein Properties in 1990, Grey has been responsible for the development of several million square feet of office, medical office, retail, and infill residential properties. Grey graduated from Phi Beta Kappa from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) a t the University of Virginia. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina and South Carolina, and is the past President of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP). Projects that Grey has been involved with include 605 Lexington Avenue (infill office building in Charlotte, 800 St. Mary's Street (infill boutique apartment project in Raleigh), 1500 Kenilworth (infill townhome project in Charlotte), Park at Drexel (infill boutique apartment project in Charlotte), OrthoCarolina Medical Office Building (Charlotte), and Dabney Exchange Retail Development (Henderson).

Jeffrey Floyd is Vice President and Managing Principal of the LS3P Charlotte office and the firm’s Office Practice Leader. With over 39 years of experience, he is the most prolific designer of office buildings for investment and corporate headquarters as well as operations centers in the Carolinas. Jeff is recognized as an expert in team-built project delivery in the investment development arena for mixed-use, suburban, and urban projects. Jeff is known for his long-term association with leading investment development clients including The Bissell Companies, Lincoln Harris, Spectrum Properties, and Highwoods. Jeff has been responsible for more than 57 Class ‘A’ office buildings in Ballantyne Corporate Park, alone providing over 4.5 million SF of office space. Ballantyne Corporate Park was awarded the 2010 International Suburban Office Park of the Year by BOMA International and won the 2011 NAIOP Award.

Jay has been involved in commercial real estate brokerage, consulting and development full-time since 1987. Prior to moving to Charlotte in 1997, he spent 10 years in downtown Washington, D.C., as a commercial real estate broker initially with Grubb & Ellis and later with Faison. In Charlotte, Jay was Vice President, Corporate Services, with Lincoln Harris where he represented such clients as US LEC, J.C. Bradford & Company, Interstate/Johnson Lane, ALLTEL, Wachovia Securities, Bank of America and The Urban Land Institute. During his four years with Lincoln Harris, he completed over 60 transactions in 50 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Jay left Lincoln Harris in 2001 to form Insite Properties. At Insite, Jay is responsible for strategic direction, management oversight, investment decisions, investor relations, and capitalization of Insite’s acquisitions and development projects.

Principal Nathan Daniel serves as a Practice Leader and the Community Relationships Leader for LS3P’s Charlotte office. He excels at developing and maintaining long, productive relationships with clients. He is responsible for the design of the overall project vision in multiple project sectors, including corporate commercial, faith, hospitality, and mixed-use developments. Nathan’s role is one of leadership and guidance, leading the project team from visioning through project completion. He is also a mediator, helping to foster trust and respect between the stakeholders. Nathan recently oversaw the completion of AvidXchange’s headquarters at the Music Factory just outside of uptown Charlotte as well as the new Elevation Church global headquarters in Ballantyne.

Swinerton Operations Manager Kevin Smith is a lifelong learner, passionate about leadership, training and development of teams. He is fortunate to have a wide range of project experience ranging from office to hospitality to multifamily to retail. A graduate of Penn State University, Kevin has nearly 20 years of industry experience in structural engineering, constructability, and efficiency.

As Trinity Partners’ Director of Tenant Representation, Ann-Fleming Powell and her team guide clients through every step of the space-user decision process, whether it’s a lease renewal or a need to find new space to lease or purchase. In every transaction, Ann-Fleming’s goal is always the same: saving clients time and money that results in the client having assurance that they are getting the best deal possible without leaving favorable contract terms or money on the table. No matter the size requirement of the client, she pores over lease documents and contracts to understand every nuance to ensure the best possible terms. She enjoys the proactive process of working to lower her clients’ occupancy costs, which in turn improves their bottom line. That begins with her negotiating skills. Ann-Fleming is the expert advocate clients want on their side of the table – whether they’re negotiating a lease for the first time or renegotiating a lease with their current landlord. Ann-Fleming’s representation goes beyond saving her clients money. It’s a safeguard her clients have come to rely on. In addition to her expertise in negotiation, the Winston-Salem native is also known for her unwavering attention to detail and resourcefulness – skills she has honed for the 10+ years she’s been in the industry. The most recent half of her career, was comprised of 6 years with Lincoln Harris Corporate Services on the Bank of America account. While dedicated to this account, she negotiated office lease acquisitions and renewals totaling about 1.9 million square feet in transactions for Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Home Loans locations in North and South Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. Her experience also includes serving as a Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle, where her clients ranged from blue chip companies such as MetLife, Hyundai America Shipping, and Lincoln Financial Group to local one-person startups. She holds the CCIM designation and is a member of CoreNet, CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), and CRCBR (Charlotte Regional Commercial Board of Realtors). Ann-Fleming is licensed in North and South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. She graduated from the University of Georgia's Grady School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Dennis Pilarczyk is a structural steel specialist serving the Raleigh-Durham market for the American Institute of Steel Construction. Before joining AISC, Dennis worked as the structural engineering department manager for a consulting firm in the Raleigh area. He has more than 13 years experience in the structural design and construction industries. He is a Certified Welding Inspector and a licensed professional engineer. Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from North Carolina State University.

William joined New Forum in 2013 as a leasing associate in the multifamily division. After transitioning to commercial leasing in 2014 William became broker- in-charge for all New Forum’s retail and office listings in 2016. Since 2018 William has overseen the implementation of New Forum Partners, an acquisition and development platform where he is responsible for sourcing and underwriting real estate investment opportunities in the Carolinas. William also co-develops new business ventures such as Piedmont Social House.
