As a founding principal of Structured Development, LLC, J. Michael Drew has been engaged in the real estate development and construction management business for nearly 40 years. Michael matriculated at the University of Illinois where he studied Business Administration and Architecture. Over 25 years as a general contractor, Michael has had extensive experience in all phases of the construction process, especially scheduling of labor forces and subcontractors and comparative purchasing of material and equipment. Notable projects completed include City Hall Lobby and Entrance Renovations, Marshall Field and State of Illinois Pedways, Clark Lake and Roosevelt Subway Stations, McCormick Place Expansion, and numerous utility tunnel installations. He was an active participant in the conversion and renovation of obsolete loft buildings to commercial and residential reuse throughout the City, including Riverworks on Goose Island, Lincoln Lofts in Lakeview, 1415 Dayton and 1333 Kingsbury in the Halsted Triangle. During his tenure as a principal of Structured Development, the firm completed over 2,000,000 square feet of product including Lincoln Park Center, Blackhawk on Halsted, Kingsbury Center, and Kendall College at Riverworks. Structured Development is the Managing Partner on the “nationally significant” New City mixed use project. Structured was awarded the Adaptive Reuse Project of 2008 by the Landmark Preservation Council for its historic conversion of the Chicago and Northwestern Powerhouse to office and retail. Michael represented the Builders Association of Greater Chicago on the City’s Minority Relations Committee, served on the recent Land Use Task Force Committee, and is a long term member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, and Lambda Alpha International. He is a 20 year member of World Presidents Organization, and a past President of Olympia Fields Country Club. Michael has served on the Advisory Board for the Marshall Bennett Institute of Real Estate at Roosevelt University for over a decade.

Regina Stilp has been a visionary force in commercial real estate for more than two decades, developing sustainable, desirable properties that galvanize communities. She embraces projects with a purpose, such as the Bronzeville Lakefront development on Chicago’s South Side and properties in the U.S. Southeast, which infuse hope into areas that will benefit from inclusive economic development. Regina was one of the first employees at Sterling Bay and rose to principal. She was behind the design and execution of some of Chicago’s most architecturally acclaimed developments of the 2000s, including the creation of Google’s Midwest headquarters and the redevelopment of Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studios into a showcase global HQ for McDonald’s. Dedicated to diversifying real estate development, Regina prioritizes partnering with minority- and women-owned businesses. At Bronzeville Lakefront, for instance, minority-owned businesses comprise 65% of the project. She serves on the advisory board of First Women’s Bank, one of the few women-owned U.S. banks. She is a member of the CREW Chicago network of women in commercial real estate and the Economic Club of Chicago. Regina is an intrepid traveler: She has set foot on every continent — yes, even Antarctica — and has visited every U.S. National Park. (There are 63, if you’re wondering.) A graduate of the University of Iowa, she lives in Wilmette with her family.

Matthew Beaudet was appointed by Mayor Lori Lightfoot on July 31, 2020, and confirmed by City Council on October 7, 2020, to serve as Commissioner of the Chicago Department of Buildings (DOB), a 295‐person department with an annual budget of $37 million. DOB enhances the safety and quality of life for residents and visitors of the City of Chicago through permitting, inspections, trade licensing, and enforcement of the Chicago Construction Codes.  Prior to his appointment, Beaudet served as the First Deputy Commissioner of the Department since 2011 where he worked to implement multiple reforms that have streamlined the permit process for all building projects. From single-family-home renovations to large-scale developments, the reforms make it quicker and more efficient to obtain a permit than ever before. Beaudet was integral in the move to electronic plan review in 2012, establishing Chicago as the first city to implement an electronic processing for all permit applications requiring architectural drawings. In 2019, Beaudet worked on the team that led the City’s adoption of the first full rewrite of the Chicago Building Code in 70 years, making Chicago was one of the first major jurisdictions in the U.S. to align with the 2018 International Building Code.  Beaudet also served as the First Deputy Commissioner for the Chicago Department of Public Health, the Assistant Director of the Illinois Department of Central Management Services, the Chief of Electronic Tolling at the Illinois Tollway, and the Assistant Director of the Chicago Department of Administrative Hearings.    The first Native-American appointed to serve as a City Commissioner, Beaudet is a citizen of the Montauk Tribe, active in local and national civil rights issues and co-founder and first president of the Illinois Native American Bar Association. He was appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to serve on the Committee on Character and Fitness from 2000 to 2009 and is a past recipient of the Illinois Bar Association’s Community Service Award. Beaudet is also a fifth-generation Chicagoan and active in volunteer work with the Chicago Public Schools.  Beaudet holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago, a law degree from the John Marshall Law School, and was admitted to the practice of law in Illinois in 1989.  Born in Logan Square he resides in Irving Park with wife and children.  Commissioner Beaudet, and the entire Department of Buildings team, look forward to providing quality service as we commit to the equitable strengthening of investment and quality of life for all 77 communities of the City of Chicago.

Alan D. Lev is the Chairman of Belgravia Group, Ltd., a Chicago based, and Phoenix area residential homebuilder specializing in townhome, condominium, and apartment developments. Belgravia has developed over 2,500 homes in Chicago as well as rental apartments and commercial projects, and three times recently was awarded Developer of the Year from Chicago Agent Magazine and Impact Award winner from Lincoln Park Builders of Chicago. He is also in the Homebuilders Association of Greater Chicago Court of Honor and the Merchandise Mart Hall of Fame. Alan joined Belgravia Group in 1989. Mr. Lev earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy in 1982 from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. He later obtained his J.D. from Loyola University of Chicago in 1985. During law school he worked in the tax department at Price Waterhouse. Mr. Lev practiced real estate law from 1985-1989 at Greenberger, Kraus and Jacobs and then Goldberg, Kohn, et al. He has been a CPA since 1982, an attorney since 1985, a licensed real estate broker since 1989, a licensed insurance broker since 2012, a licensed personal trainer since 2017 and a Registered Investment Advisor since 2020. As Senior Vice President at PACE Loan Group, Matthew is responsible for loan origination, loan underwriting, and portfolio monitoring. Prior to joining PLG, Matthew completed similar duties while working in US Bank’s Commercial Real Estate and Real Estate Structured Finance Groups. At US Bank, Matthew was responsible for property and borrower underwriting for warehouse lines, construction loans, and balance sheet refi’s across all asset classes. Matthew is a graduate of Saint John’s University (MN) with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Mr. Koita has developed a comprehensive skill set in development and investing throughout his nearly 20 year career in commercial real estate with a total transaction volume of over $4 billion of direct real estate across all major asset classes. Prior to forming Knickpoint, Mr. Koita was a Director at Fir Tree Partners where he led value add real estate private equity investments throughout the country and internationally with Fir Tree Real Estate Fund III, a fully discretionary $800 million vehicle. Prior to Fir Tree, Mr. Koita was a Director at Angelo, Gordon & Co. where he led opportunistic and core plus investments throughout the Midwest, Florida, self storage and hotels. Rufus Williams is an accomplished, results-oriented business and financial strategist and entrepreneur with a long-standing commitment to civic engagement and education. Williams is Managing Director of Loop Capital Investment Management aka LoopWealth, the personal wealth management business arm of Loop Capital which focuses on building generational wealth for ultra-high-income athletes, entertainers, artists, and executives. Rufus also spends considerable time working with Loop Capital Real Estate, which is the real estate financing, development, and procurement division of Loop Capital. Prior to LoopWealth, Rufus was founder, President and CEO of Olympus LLC, a boutique client representation firm primarily serving athletes and entertainers in a broad range of services including contract representation, business and investment management. He also served as CFO for Oprah Winfrey’s HARPO Inc, and was Corporate Audit Manager at Baxter Healthcare after spending 10 years at Arthur Andersen & Co. His philanthropic involvement is almost as rich as his professional experience. Rufus served as President of Chicago’s Board of Education, the nation’s third largest school system, and has been a consistent leader on boards of several of the city’s top schools and civic organizations. He is a Life Trustee of Francis W. Parker School, served as Vice Chairman and Treasurer of Providence St. Mel School and was President of the Local School Council of Whitney M. Young Magnet School. Shawn Papazian has been involved with the Design, Development, Operations and Management of several independent studio facilities in Los Angeles and abroad for the past 25 yrs. He is also an accomplished Emmy Nominated Producer and has been an Executive in the entertainment and media sector throughout his career as well. In late 2005, Shawn worked closely with GI Partners and the CEO & President of Sunset Gower Studios in collaborating on the re-design of the lot and the buildout of Technicolor’s state-of-the-art, Post- Production and Corporate Office headquarters on the SGS lot. He was also the Executive Director of the studio and worked with the team on the sale to Hudson Capital Group in 2007. From 2008 until late 2013, Shawn became the Vice President of the historic Culver Studios Lot owned by Lehman Brothers. Upon Lehman’s bankruptcy, they subsequently sold the studio to Hackman Capital Partners in 2014. While at Culver Studios, Shawn spearheaded and supervised the entitlements for the over 200SF of additional space on the lot which has now been developed by Hackman as the Amazon Studios headquarters. His start in the studio business was running Ray Art Studios as the Vice President and General Manager from its’ inception to the sale of the studio to Archstone Realty. While at Ray Art, Shawn was responsible for procuring the term deal for a build to suit stage and support space for Paramount TV’s DR LAURA SCHLESSINGER talk show. Shawn has also developed and produced the feature film UNDER THE BED with Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way and Ted Field’s Radar Pictures. Dan Myrick, co- writer/co-director of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT helmed the film, that was released in the winter of 2016 on A&E. Post the success of the airing, the network hired Shawn and Dan to write UNDER THE BED 2. Shawn’s relationship with Myrick dates back to 2006 when he was asked by Myrick, Tony Krantz (24 TV Series), and John Shiban (HELL ON WHEELS) to produce the first (3) films for Raw Feed and Warner Bros Home Entertainment. REST STOP, the first Raw Feed production, became the best-selling non-theatrical DVD in the history of Warner Bros. In 2007, Shawn was invited back by Raw Feed/WB to direct the sequel. REST STOP II was released on DVD in October of ‘08 and was the top rented, non-theatrical film in Blockbuster for four weeks straight. In 2017, Shawn co- designed with Gensler Architects and created the business plan for Studio1 at LBA Realty’s One Culver at 10000 Washington Blvd in downtown Culver City. One Culver is currently the home base for Apple Content. In 2018, Shawn became the President and COO of Crimson Studios Group which currently owns and operates two independent studio production facilities in Los Angeles. Both studios are currently occupied by CBS’ respective hit series NCIS and Netflix’s new highly anticipated 1hr Drama LINCOLN LAWYER (based on the books and the film). Shawn expanded the Crimson brand into an off lot General Management agreement for Studio1 which opened in the spring of 2019. As of recent, Shawn was instrumental in bringing both Crimson Studios and Valencia Studios to an off- market sale on behalf of the owners. The deal closed in June of 2021 to LPC and Gem Equity. Since the transaction, Shawn has moved on and ventured into a partnership with Artisan Ventures. They formed Artisan Studios and they are currently involved in new studio developments spread throughout various parts of Los Angeles and in Chicago with his roster of clients to include WB Tv, Netflix, A/E Network, ABC Tv, Food Network, Game Show Network, Amazon Studios, and CBS and Paramount Studios. Shawn is a graduate of LMU’s School of Film and Television and is a member of the PGA, DGA, and WGA. As well as an accomplished licensed Realtor in the state of California.

Christine T. Dudley served as the Director of the Illinois Film Office from 2015-2018, overseeing a historic growth in revenue, jobs and programming. Her work cemented Illinois’ spot as the Midwest destination for film and television production During her tenure, nearly $2 billion was reported in film spending in Illinois. In 2018, Dudley oversaw a total of 332 television, film, digital and commercial advertising projects which generated more than $473 million in estimated spending, resulting in 13,848 job hires and nearly 4,000 individual businesses providing goods and services to the industry. Most remarkably, these numbers marked a 12% growth over the previous year. Christine worked with the Illinois General Assembly and industry stakeholders to secure the passage of legislation extending the film tax credit through 2026. In addition, Dudley and her team assisted in the negotiations for legislation requiring financial protections for child performers, commonly referred to as the “Coogan’s Law”. Beyond those immediate achievements, Dudley is proud of the expanded line of programming that will lead to continued, future growth in Illinois. Under her watch the state secured over a dozen original content episodic television programs; streaming services and cable networks such as Comedy Central, Showtime, Netflix, Amazon Studios and HBO established or expanded their production footprint in Illinois; including the fourth season of FX’s Fargo. Her expertise includes public affairs outreach; event planning; grassroots engagement; campaign management; compliance; and earned and paid media strategies.  She has also served in lead management roles including as a Special Assistant to U.S. Secretary of Labor in the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Affairs. In addition, she has held senior management and advisory roles for members of the U.S. Senate and House, State Executive elected officials, and State Legislators.   She is frequently called upon by the media, universities, and industry organizations to share her public policy expertise on film incentives, legislative engagement, and opinions regarding leadership roles for women. Christine currently serves on the Board of the Illinois Governor’s Mansion Association, Elevated Films, The Midwest Film Festival Advisory Board, and the Indiana University Chicago Advancement Advisory Council. Previous board service includes the Illinois Arts Council; The Shattered Globe Theatre; The Lincoln Excellence in Public Service Series, DePaul University Government Assistance Program (GAP); and Chicago Women in Government Relations.    In recognition of her dedication to preparing women for government and public policy positions, Christine received the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series National Coalition “Iron Jawed Angel Award” and was recognized amongst Princeton Illinois’ (women’s shelter) Freedom House Gallery of Hero and Heroines.  A native Hoosier, she attended Indiana University. Christine resides in Chicago, Illinois.
