Matt joined the Becknell La Grange Team as Vice President of Leasing in 2020. Matt leads the team’s leasing efforts on existing buildings and speculative projects around the country. During his time at Becknell, Matt’s leasing expertise and focus on serving clients has significantly contributed to the success of Becknell’s real estate portfolios. He brings with him more than 20 years of diverse real estate management, leasing, marketing, and construction experience for local, regional and global companies. Matt received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana and his Master of Architecture from University of Maryland at College Park. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Architect in the State of Illinois.

Wayne Smith is a Professional Geologist (P.G.) and the Principal Consultant with Pioneer Engineering & Environmental Services, LLC. He is also part of the executive management group that leads the company. He began his career with Pioneer in 1992, and has progressed through various roles as a Project Manager and then Environmental Services Director where he was in charge of company operations, and currently holds the position of Principal Consultant. During his tenure in the environmental field, he has conducted more than a thousand Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for industrial, manufacturing, and commercial properties throughout the United States. Wayne has also developed and implemented active remediation systems and successfully achieved regulatory closures on a wide range of contaminated sites. Wayne was the lead consultant responsible for successfully completing more than 200 Brownfields redevelopment projects in Illinois. His expertise and knowledge in the environmental field has also afforded Wayne the opportunity to speak at various real estate events regarding due diligence and Brownfields redevelopment. He was an integral part of the growth of the company and created and implemented several operational procedures that helped lead Pioneer to be considered one of the premier environmental consulting firms in Chicago specializing in due diligence and Brownfields redevelopment. Today, Pioneer is the #1 firm in the State of Illinois by number of NFR letters obtained for its clients through the various Illinois EPA regulatory programs. Wayne has a thorough understanding of real estate property transactions and provides owners, lenders, purchasers, developers and investors with the pertinent information needed to help make logical, well-reasoned decisions on properties with environmental issues.

Barry is part of the third generation of TMG ownership and brings more than 30 years of industry experience to his role as CEO of The Missner Group. As CEO he leads TMG’s real estate operations including investment and disposition strategy. During his career, Barry has facilitated the development of award-winning real estate valued at more than $500 million. Barry is an active NAIOP National Forum Member and is affiliated with the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE).

Chris partners with FCL’s existing clients as they explore prospective opportunities to expand their real estate portfolios for greater business impact. He brings to his work a deep passion for the industry and an impressive background in construction management and project execution. Chris joined FCL as a Project Manager in 2012. After successfully delivering industrial projects for companies like Home Depot, FedEx, and other global brands, he was promoted to his current position. In this capacity, Chris serves as a strategic advisor to clients engaged in repeat business with FCL. Day to day, he’s dedicated to building long-lasting customer relationships and working closely with pre-construction teams to ensure a smooth transition to production to protect customer investments throughout the building process. Chris grew up in the industry. After earning a series of industry internships during college, he began his career as an estimator. Clients and FCL teams today benefit from Chris’s depth of knowledge and two decades of experience, success with the large-scale developments, and his appreciation for differing stakeholder perspectives.

John Joyce, CCIM SIOR serves as Managing Director at SVN Chicago Industrial. Joycedelivers professional commercial real estate services by providing real-world solutions through an integrated platform. He also provides his clients with a unique competitive advantage through competency and diligence. He executes financial analysis, market analysis, and user decision analysis for commercial real estate users and owners. Joyce views real estate decision-making in the context of the client’s overall strategic objectives and works at understanding each company’s productivity and profitability. He focuses on his client’s short-term real estate needs and long-term growth strategies to ensure the plan being implemented is aligned with both. His focus is on providing real estate and supply chain solutions to distribution and warehouse companies throughout the Midwest on matters including: relocations, consolidations, site search analysis, build-to-suit alternatives, incentives, acquisition, disposition, and leasing services.

Tom has guided clients on complex build to suit projects, & Leasing assignments in all of the 22 sub-markets that comprise the Chicago market, portfolio management and leasing, and assisted manufacturers on material flow and municipal incentives. Since 1992, Tom has managed a variety of real estate projects, originally developing low income housing in Rogers Park section of Chicago. He moved into commercial real estate and gained experience working for nationally-ranked developers The Alter Group and HSA Commercial Real Estate. Tom works primarily on projects that involve new construction and land development. Tom graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics

Josh Udelhofen is a Senior Vice President for Trammell Crow Company’s Midwest operations. In this role, Josh oversees the firm’s industrial development and investment initiatives in the Chicago region. He was previously based in St. Louis, where he was responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, and field execution activities in the St. Louis and Kansas City markets. Prior to joining TCC, Josh held senior leadership positions with two St. Louis-based development firms, Altus Properties and The Koman Group. During his tenure at these well-respected firms, Josh oversaw the development of over $600MM in development across multiple product types. Notable achievements include the development of Missouri’s first LEED Gold office building (Centene Plaza), the highest multifamily per-unit sales price (Arterra), and two St. Louis Development of the Year recognitions (Cupples 9 and 700 Market).

Daniel English is the President and Co-Founder of Legacy Investing, an investment firm focused on technology impacted real estate. Legacy has completed >$3B in transactions across 19M SF in data centers, e-commerce industrial assets, and life science buildings. Prior to co-founding Legacy Investing, Daniel was a tech start-up executive with leadership roles across M&A, corporate development, strategy, and product management. Daniel studied engineering at Carnegie Mellon University and Economics and Finance at Emory University.

Joe Noon is responsible for leading Acquisitions and Business Development for Realterm in the Central Region of the United States. Previously, Mr. Noon worked for Hines in Chicago and Toronto as a Director and was charged with managing development and investments across all property types. Mr. Noon holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.

Cary Goldman, a career industrial real estate specialist, is a managing partner and founder of Timber Hill. He is an expert in the development of sound acquisition strategies and the identification of target acquisitions as well as leasing, tenant relations and disposition strategies. Over the past 25 years, Mr. Goldman has completed industrial real estate transactions valued at more than $1,500,000,000. Prior to forming his new venture in 2018, Mr. Goldman was a managing partner at Sitex Group LLC, a company he co-founded in 2002. There he executed on eight discretionary private equity real estate funds and worked with many of the largest and most innovative companies in the U.S. today. Mr. Goldman also worked with a wide variety of investors such as family offices and high net worth individuals as well as institutional investors including the State Teachers’ Retirement System of Ohio. Under his leadership at Sitex Group, the firm acquired 136 properties valued at more than $1,000,000,000. Mr. Goldman is also the co-owner of Three Ring Studios, a world-class, purpose-built media campus currently being developed in Covington, Georgia. Completion is expected in 2018.

Tina Ramos is responsible for the implementation of the firm's investment strategy along with managing new and existing capital relationships. Throughout her career, Tina has capitalized almost $10 billion of real estate. She specializes in sourcing equity and debt investment opportunities in the Midwest and spearheads all of TMG's investment endeavors. Tina received her undergraduate degree from Yale University and her MBA in real estate finance from UCLA.

Ryan Stoller is a Managing Partner and Head of Developments at Venture One. He is also a member of Venture One’s Investment CommiƩee. Ryan is responsible for leading his team in all sourcing, enƟtlement, and construcƟon acƟviƟes for new developments. Since joining Venture One in 2015, Ryan has led the development of over 14 million square feet of industrial real estate in the greater Chicago and New York / New Jersey area, represenƟng over $2 billion in value. Prior to being a Principal at Venture One, Ryan served as Senior Vice President of Investments at KTR Capital Partners and was responsible for the sourcing, underwriƟng and execuƟon of prospecƟve investments for KTR in the Midwest. During his 8-year tenure at KTR, Ryan and his team acquired and developed over 70 million square feet of industrial real estate. Ryan began his real estate career at First Industrial Realty Trust and the Trammel Crow Company aŌer receiving a Bachelor of Business AdministraƟon in Finance and ConsulƟng from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.

As Managing Director of Sterling Bay Industrial, Scott spearheads the firm’s strategic initiatives within the industrial real estate sector. His responsibilities include oversight of all acquisitions, development projects, and leasing activities within the vertical. Scott’s over two decades of experience in commercial real estate, coupled with a deep understanding of industrial market trends in major markets across the country, enable him to drive the division’s growth and contribute to Sterling Bay’s overall national expansion strategy. Prior to joining Sterling Bay, Scott served as Chicago Market Officer at IDI Logistics, a leading developer and manager of logistics real estate in the U.S. During his tenure at IDI Logistics, Scott played a crucial role in developing and executing strategic growth plans, overseeing complex real estate transactions, and fostering strong industry relationships. Scott holds a BS in Business, Finance, and Real Estate from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is on the board of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and is a youth mentor through LINK Unlimited Scholars.

Wendy Berger is CEO and Founder of WBS Equities, LLC. WBS Equities is a real estate development firm which specializes in ground-up construction, renovation, development, sale lease back transactions and acquisition of industrial buildings for food and beverage manufacturers and distributors. Wendy is also an active investor across multiple real estate asset classes including retail, multi-family, senior housing and self-storage. Over the last 28 years she has been involved in the real estate business as a developer, property manager, broker and principally as an owner-investor. Wendy began her career at American National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago (a subsidiary of First Chicago, now JP Morgan Chase) in Commercial Lending. Wendy spent several years as a principal with Berger Realty Group, an 80-year- old family owned Real Estate business where she focused on residential and industrial property management and development. She was responsible for managing 3,000 apartment units, 200,000 square feet of commercial space and 250,000 square feet of industrial space. Aside from her experience in the real estate field, Wendy spent 10 years working with ultra-high growth technology startups. Wendy was employee number 10 at Orbitz, the Travel web site founded in 2000 by American, Continental, Delta, Northwest and United Airlines. Wendy was Director of the Enterprise Planning at Orbitz and focused on strategic planning. Prior to Orbitz, Wendy co-founded and was COO of Neoglyphics Media Corporation, one of the country’s first web site development firms. Neoglyphics grew from a small start-up to a corporation with a staff of more than 150 employees before it was sold in March 1998 for $65 million. Wendy earned her MBA in Finance and Real Estate from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business. She received a B.S., cum laude, in Finance and Marketing from Syracuse University. In her spare time Wendy is an avid triathlete and runner, having completed 31 Olympic Distance triathlons and six half-marathons. Wendy serves on the Board of directors of the Chicago Public Library Foundation (2016 – present), the Board of directors of the Jewish Federation/Jewish United Fund of Chicago (2001 – 2007, and 2009 – present). Wendy has volunteered for TimeLine Theater, The Marwen Foundation, Chicago Run and the Uptown Cafe. Wendy served until 2004 as Vice-President and Membership Chair at The Standard Club of Chicago and as a member of the Board of Directors (1994 – 2004). Wendy is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and served as the chair of the Real Estate Membership Committee. Wendy served two years on the Board of Directors of TEDxMidwest. Wendy co-founded Illinois Women in Cannabis in 2014. Wendy is an active mentor, a role she takes very seriously, usually mentoring 4 – 5 young women at any given time. Most recently, Wendy is proud to now call herself a TED speaker, her talk is available on the TED web site.

Dave Michael joined Peak in 2010 as Project Manager. In 2017, he added the role of Sales and was subsequently promoted to Project Executive in 2019 and Vice President | Sales in 2021. Dave’s day-to-day responsibilities include the strategic collaboration among the entire project team, as well as providing executive support for Peak Project Management and Field Supervision functions. Additionally, Dave creates new customer relationships while expanding and supporting existing Peak client relationships resulting in new project opportunities across all of Peak’s national markets and various construction platforms (Office, Industrial Speculative and Build-to-Suit, Multi-Family, Student Housing, Business Park Development, Medical, Assisted Living, and Food Processing/Cooler Storage).

Molly is a partner in the Chicago Office of Siegel Jennings, a national property tax law firm. As a litigator and trusted advisor, she collaborates with Owners, Asset Managers, Acquisition teams and Tax Departments to identify, create and execute property tax reduction strategies. She becomes a member of her clients’ management team. Her goal is to maximize and protect the full potential of real estate assets, minimize related tax liabilities, and resolve disputes with tax authorities and government entities. Molly’s client experience ranges from family owned 1031 portfolios to national commercial investment funds, including special use properties such as hospital campuses to multi-million-dollar manufacturing facilities. Her comprehensive understanding of the commercial real estate market was developed in part through her time as a real estate broker in the Chicago area prior to starting her legal career. Molly regularly represents clients in hearings before review boards, local assessors’ offices, the Illinois Property Tax Appeal Board, and the circuit courts.

Under Smietana’s supervision, HSA’s diversified management portfolio has consistently ranked in the top 10 in Chicago and grown to include more than 16 million square feet of office, industrial, retail and corporate facilities in 14 states. Smietana has completed more than 75 commercial developments comprising more than 20 million square feet and valued at $2 billion. His diverse development experience, which began in 1978, includes industrial, retail, hotel, suburban and urban office, senior housing and medical office. He has been responsible for all phases of real estate, including land acquisitions, entitlements, design development, financing, construction management operations, property and asset management, and brokerage.

Jon joined Bridge in 2015 and is responsible for assisting in Bridge’s development, acquisition and disposition activities throughout the Northeast Region. He is currently involved in all aspects of the development process, specifically including sourcing, feasibility analysis, leasing, and dispositions. Jon has successfully been involved with transactions totaling over 4.4 million SF valued at over $650+ million during his time at Bridge. Prior to his role with Bridge, Pozerycki served as an Analyst for the development and investment departments at CenterPoint Properties located in Chicago. As an analyst, he was responsible for underwriting prospective industrial development and acquisition transactions, including joint ventures, in numerous national submarkets. During his tenure, Jon also assisted in the coordination and preparation of investment and board presentations for all new developments, acquisitions, and dispositions. He is a graduate of Colgate University where he received his BA and he is currently pursuing a Business Certificate in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. He is a member of NAIOP.

Steve Schnur joined CRG as Chief Operating Officer in April 2023. In his role, Schnur helps guide the firm’s strategic growth and continued expansion of its real estate development and investment activities across North America. As a key member of the Executive Leadership team, Schnur is at the helm of leveraging CRG's impressive legacy - one that has seen the development of over $14 billion in assets, 12,500 acres, and 220 million square feet since 1993. He has also been pivotal in driving the firm’s vision of delivering exceptional industrial, multifamily, student housing, and mixed-use projects nationwide. Steve previously served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Duke Realty. During his nearly 20-year career with Duke Realty, he was heavily involved in the development, leasing, and property management operations of the firm’s 160 million-square-foot logistics portfolio across 19 major markets. Schnur was also responsible for identifying and pursuing new development opportunities, paving the way for over $5 billion in industrial development. In addition to being recognized as an industry leader, Schnur is well-known for going beyond the status quo. Schnur serves on the board of the American Red Cross Indiana Chapter, participates in the Northwestern Athletes’ Mentoring Program and is a member of SIOR and NAIOP. Additionally, he was named to Crain’s Chicago Business “40 Under 40” list in 2008 and the Midwest Real Estate News Commercial Real Estate “Hall of Fame” in 2016. Steve holds a Masters Degree in Marketing and a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Behavior Studies from Northwestern University.

Joe leads the operations and business development efforts for ARCO/Murray’s industrial division. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Joe’s background blends proven experience managing key industrial projects across the country with strategies honed as a business analytics consultant. Over the past 5 years, Joe has grown ARCO/Murray’s industrial business from $10M to $150M+.

Ben has over 20-years of experience providing engineering and energy consulting services throughout the United States. He is a Partner in National Property Consulting Group (NPC) and currently serves as a Principal Engineer and leads the companys Industrial division for due diligence. Ben's primary technical focus is Property Condition Assessments with an emphasis in mechanical systems. He has considerable experience with Property Condition Assessments (well over 600 properties assessed), Green Property Condition Assessments, specialty mechanical/electrical/plumbing assessments, Energy Audits, construction loan monitoring/draw reviews, accessibility compliance assessments (ADA), Reserve Studies, and new construction or renovation document and cost reviews.
