With 26 years of institutional real estate experience, working in acquisitions, asset management, finance, portfolio management and audit, Duane is responsible for directing and oversight of our acquisitions, dispositions and asset management activities in the $5.1bn Mid-Atlantic region portfolio. Duane has been involved in the acquisition of over $3.3bn in institutional real estate assets in California, Colorado, Arizona and Texas. His acquisitions were acquired in wholly owned or joint venture structures, and range from core to opportunistic. Duane has provided asset management services for over six million sq ft of office and 16 million sq ft of industrial space. Duane has also been instrumental in the firms’ entrance in the Singapore and Australia property markets as well as the establishment of various joint venture relationships. Prior to joining the business in 2005, Duane held roles with American Realty Advisors and Prudential Real Estate Investors. Duane holds a BS in Accounting from Florida A&M University and is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Commercial Real Estate Development Association, National Multifamily Housing Council, and is on the Board of Directors for the Harris County Improvement District.
