As owner and manager of Two Rows Classic Grill in Allen, you can usually find Councilmember Baine Brooks visiting with diners on anything from family news to community concerns. His passion for Allen’s continued growth and development inspired him to serve on Allen City Council. Brooks was elected in 2012 to fill an unexpired term and reelected in 2013 and 2016. He currently serves on the Allen Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors (2018- present) and the Allen USA Advisory Committee (2016-present). Previously he served on the Finance/Audit Committee (2012-2017) and the convention and Visitors Bureau Council Committee (2012-2013), Council Nominating Committee (2012-2018), the Convention and Visitors Bureau Committee (2013-2018), and as council liaison for the Parks and Recreation Board (2012-2018) Brooks obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma. He has served as a board member for the Foundation for Allen Schools, president of the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association (2010), and regional director for the Texas Restaurant Association (2011). His work for the North Texas Food Bank helped him to discover his passion for feeding hungry families. One of the reasons he enjoys living in Allen is finding organizations, like Allen Community Outreach (ACO), where he can help those in need. Brooks is a member of the Allen Chamber of Commerce and a lifetime member of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). He attends Cottonwood Creek Church in Allen. Brooks lives in Allen with his wife, Juli; they have two daughters, Brittani and Brenna.

As executive vice president for Bright Realty, Lucas Patterson oversees real estate development. Mr. Patterson and his team are responsible for managing the day-to-day commercial development activities for over 500 acres of the Bright family farm land along with numerous retail pad sites in the DFW metroplex. Mr. Patterson has over 17 years of real estate industry experience specializing in retail development and leasing. He holds a master in business administration with a concentration in real estate finance from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas in Austin. Prior to joining Bright Realty in 2011, Mr. Patterson worked with Lincoln Property Company for six years, leasing and managing over 2.5 million square feet of Lincoln Property Company developments and third party accounts including the Shops at the Galleria, a 500,000 square foot power center in southwest Austin, and the re-development of Northcross Mall in central Austin. Mr. Patterson is also a licensed Texas Real Estate agent. Mr. Patterson is married with three school-aged children. In his spare time, he enjoys attending his children's activities and University of Texas sporting events.

Mike Kennedy is a Principal with Avison Young and a Principal with Altera Development, providing innovation and leadership in land brokerage, strategic analysis and development. Mike blends his unique background in real estate and architecture to create unique, financeable real estate and development and brokerage solutions. Recent activity includes brokerage and advisory services on the 160 acre Indigo Ridge Mixed Use Development in Cedar Park, sale of the 100 acre Collin Creek Mall property in Plano, and development of the Marriott Delta Hotel and Convention Center in Allen. Mike received his Masters Degree in American Urbanism from The University of Virginia.

As Vice President, Clay provides leadership in the development of client relationships and the pursuit of new business across all of our commercial construction service areas including office, retail, warehouse and medical offices. He is focused on delivering superior service by understanding our existing and potential client’s needs and connecting the precise resources necessary to deliver the greatest value to each project. He works closely with our clients to define high quality, cost effective solutions through intelligent preconstruction preparation and focused project management.

Daniel Bowman is a native of Allen, Texas and was named Executive Director/CEO of the Allen Economic Development Corporation in 2014 after 10 years with the organization. He was recognized in the Top 40 under 40 by the Dallas Business Journal (2021) and the International Economic Development Council (2013) and has been instrumental in recruiting corporate projects including NetSCOUT Systems, Credit Union of Texas, WatchGuard Video and KONE Elevators. Bowman was also instrumental in structuring the public-private partnership for the Watters Creek and The Farm in Allen mixed-use developments. His background and focus on community collaboration led him to several community leadership roles with the Kiwanis Club, Leadership Allen and other civic organizations. He is a graduate of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) CFL Leadership Class and recently earned his CCIM pin. Bowman is a graduate of Trinity University and the University of Texas at Dallas, where he earned his MBA.

Ms. Lacey Rodgers, P.E., CFM is the Transportation, Planning and Development Director for the Dallas District Office of Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). She is responsible for managing the efforts of Roadway, Bridge and Hydraulic Design, Survey, Mapping, PS&E and Schematic Development both in-house and consultant, Environmental, Right of Way and Programming & Funding. Lacey and her team manage a portfolio of 700+ projects worth over $26B. Lacey started her career with the Department as a summer hand in Midland/Odessa right out of high school and continued to work for the Department for 3 summers during her college career. Lacey received her bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University in 2004. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, as well as a Certified Floodplain Manager. Lacey, her husband Kevin and their 8 year old twin girls Callie and Leah make their home in Rockwall, Texas.

Prior to joining Pacific Elm Properties, Ms. Terry was an Executive Vice President at Colliers’ Dallas-Fort Worth where she led the Office Agency Leasing group. During her tenure at Colliers, she grew the firms’ Dallas footprint by more than 8.5 million square feet in less than three years, and she served as an advisor on Colliers’ National Office Agency Advisory Council. From 2014 to 2020, Sara was a Senior Vice President of Leasing at Stream Realty, where she provided leasing services for several institutionally owned Class A office buildings, including leading the leasing and repositioning efforts during the renovation of one of Dallas’ most iconic office towers, Trammell Crow Center. In 2018 and 2019, Sara was named a Stream Top Producer ranking her in the top 5 of producers nationwide. Prior to 2014, Sara spent most of her early career in Atlanta, where she worked for Charlotte-based developer, Crescent Resources. At Crescent, she was responsible for leasing their 2.5 million square foot Atlanta office portfolio, and she completed several corporate relocations on behalf of the owner.

Serving the City of Plano, Texas, since 1998, Christina Day’s planning career began in long range planning then shifted to development review, followed by management of housing, neighborhood, and social service programs. She was promoted to Director of Planning in early 2014. Ms. Day’s work has been largely focused on aiding the City of Plano through transition from a high growth community to one of redevelopment and infill. Christina has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Oklahoma State University and a Master’s degree in Regional and City Planning from the University of Oklahoma. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and has been active on the boards of both the National Community Development Association and Texas Chapter of the American Planning Association, where she received the Chapter President’s Award for service to the organization in 2004. The Planning Department also received the Daniel Burnham Award for a Comprehensive Plan from the American Planning Association in 2017, while under her leadership.

Mr. Farber is a Managing Principal with Younger Partners in charge of the disposition of investment sales properties for financial institutions, banks, special servicers, pension funds, REITs, corporate users and private investors. Over the last 22 years, Scot has completed over 270 investment sales assignments ranging in size from 26,000 sq. ft. to 1,850,000 sq. ft. valued at approximately $5.0 billion. Scot was an Executive Managing Director with Cushman and Wakefield and a Top Producer. Prior to C&W he was an Executive Vice President at Grubb and Ellis. He had been a Top Producer within Grubb & Ellis Company either locally or regionally or nationally every year since he joined the company. He was a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston, a Senior Vice President at Jones, Lang, LaSalle, and a Senior Director at Cushman Realty Corporation. Mr. Farber’s career includes the disposition of high-profile real estate assets across the country. Mr. Farber began his commercial real estate career over twenty seven years ago on the pension fund advisory side; directing and negotiating the disposition, leasing and management of portfolios, consisting of office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties, with an aggregate value in excess of $450MM and negotiated 200 leases with an aggregate value in excess of $35MM.
