Butler has more than 35 years of commercial real estate experience in Dallas – 25 of which were at Transwestern, where she was consistently a top producer and held several executive roles for the company. Actively involved in the Dallas commercial real estate community, Butler has received numerous awards and accolades, including the Commercial Real Estate Women’s (CREW) Outstanding Achievement Award, Transwestern’s inaugural Founder’s Award and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors’ (NTCAR) prestigious Stemmons Service Award, the highest honor from the industry group. Butler currently serves on the executive committee and board of directors of The Real Estate Council (TREC). She is also a National Product Council Chair for the Urban Land Institute. She serves on the Advisory Boards of The Real Estate Council (TREC) and TREC Foundation. Ms. Wheeler was the 2009 chair of TREC, the first woman to hold that designation. She is also a member of Commercial Real Estate Women, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Real Estate Financial Executives Association. She serves on the boards of the Jackson-Shaw Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas and Circle of Support. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a BBA in Marketing and Management, she has pursued graduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. In 2015 Ms. Wheeler was named both Consumer Credit Counseling Financial Literacy Champion and Dallas Business Journal Outstanding Director for a nonprofit. Lucy Burns began her career at Lehman Brothers in New York City where she worked in Private Client Services. From there she transitioned into real estate as the head of investments for Groupe Arnault in the United States. In 2006 Lucy joined The Ratkovich Company in Los Angeles where she managed the renovation of a 500,000 square foot high rise on Wilshire Boulevard. The role involved oversight and management of the complete replacement of the building’s central plant, asbestos abatement, common area upgrades and a $5 million lobby renovation. Mrs. Burns also handled lease negotiation, asset positioning, partnership relationships, and property management. n 2008 Lucy entered the family real estate business, where she manages Billingsley Company’s office and single-family property portfolios. “It is a thrill as a parent to see your child as a talent. "After beginning her design career in both New York and Los Angeles, Kris returned to Texas in 1991 and joined Page as Senior Designer in the Austin office. There, she expanded her range of project experience and continued to develop her love of holistic design – collaborating with the design and client team to make great places for people to work and live. Kris led the Austin office’s Interior Design team for nearly ten years before relocating to Dallas to be closer to family. She rejoined Page a few years later in the Dallas office, this time as Design Director. Today, she applies her passion and extensive expertise to a variety of project types and industries, ranging from corporate, commercial, hospitality and science/ technology. Her expertise includes space planning, programming, interior architecture and design, as well as furniture and art selection. Kris’ primary focus is understanding her clients’ needs and project requirements, then developing an innovative design response. Most exciting to Kris is the “knowledge aspect” of interior design. She explains, “I love learning about each clients’ specific business and applying new products, manufacturing techniques, and latest industry research to provide a unique solution.”
