Jeremy Records founded Central Development in 2005 and he has successfully grown the company to over $550 million in development and acquisitions of office, industrial, retail, residential, multifamily, and hotel properties. Central Development has constructed facilities for companies including, Samuel Sons, FMC Technology, JR Butler, EdgeConnex, Applied Control Equipment, Gordon Holdings Corporate Head Quarters, Reglera, Reed Construction Data, and Colorado, Rincon Research, Carrier West, Amazon, and Plastic Surgery Center.

I am a daughter of District 7. My childhood was full of adventures around the district, like visits to Huston Lake Park, Washington Park, and Athmar Park Library. Some of my earliest memories are of taking evening walks along the Platte River with my family and listening to the whistle of the train at night. After buying their first home in Athmar Park, my family was so content in District 7 that we only moved once - to the house across the street! Southwest Denver has helped to shape the person I am today. It’s where I learned the value of community, hard work, and service. In fact, my first leadership role was being on the student council at Valverde Elementary School! I attended Denver Public Schools - Valverde Elementary, West Middle and High Schools - and when I bought my home, I bought it here in District 7. When my grandmother immigrated from Mexico in the 90s, she too made her home in the district. It’s my dream that my young son will someday also make his home here. I am a small business owner and I attribute my entrepreneurial spirit to my parents. My family started a business in 1997 out of our basement. My father, Juan Alvidrez, a Mexican immigrant thrived in Denver; he got his GED from Emily Griffith and was able to build a career in construction, working his way up through the carpenters’ union. My mother, Cynthia Alvidrez, pushed my father to pursue his education, and together as a family we built a small concrete contracting company. Knowing that we all needed to do our part to support the family business, my first job was at our office on Pearl Street, in an old Victorian home next to my uncle’s dry cleaning business. Later, while attending Metropolitan State and the Community College of Denver, I supported my studies by working at the US Bank on Mississippi & Broadway. I had to put my education on hold to help run the family business when my mom experienced a medical emergency. I had been studying to be a paralegal and had become familiar with law, legislation, and legal processes, and most importantly, learned how to be an advocate for my community. At the beginning of 2020, after a shooting took place on my street, I helped unite neighbors to talk about our safety. Former Councilman Jolon Clark was there to listen, and we came up with real solutions that made us feel safe again and gave the community time and space to grieve all the loss we experienced. I know there are solutions to the problems we are facing, and I will advocate for our community. Crime has risen about 6% and that’s just since 2021. Inflation and the cost of living in Denver continue to rise, further exacerbating our housing crisis. Small businesses in the area continue to close. The path to the American dream that my family was able to achieve is dwindling, no longer an option for most. I ran for office because we need a leader who will deliver results and offer solutions to the big challenges facing our district and our growing city.

Taber leads Mortenson's real estate development business for the Rocky Mountain Region. From medical office to biomedical office and hospitality to multi-family, Taber's customer-focused approach ensures his team's projects remain on-time, under-budget and ahead of expectations. His clients cite his focus on, and ability to understand, the nuances of their business and of the transaction as a reason why they would choose to work with Mortenson again. On a day-to-day basis, Taber is responsible for feasibility analysis, site selection and acquisition, tenant recruitment, design, government approvals, and financing through construction completion. Taber grew up in Boston and was recruited to Aspen, Colorado directly out of undergrad. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design, and his Masters in Real Estate Development from the University of Denver. In his spare time, Taber can be found Mountain Biking or chasing his daughters around.

Jon Weisiger, a seasoned veteran with over 26 years of experience, is recognized as Denver’s industry leader for retail strategy and transactions. He actively represents prominent retailers and owners of retail shopping centers and mixed-use developments in the Rocky Mountain Region. For nine of the last thirteen years, DMCAR and the Denver Business Journal have named Jon as the #1 Top Producing Retail Broker in the metropolitan area , including 2015, 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2002 and 2001. Similarly, he has been awarded NAIOP’s prestigious “Colorado Retail Broker of the Year” for 2015, 2013, 2011, 2009, 2008, 2005, and 2002, and has been a top finalist every year since 2000. Jon provides his clients the strongest opportunity for success driving value with his forward looking understanding of the “art of the possible” in retail. Many retailers, developers, landlords and municipalities regularly seek Jon’s advice on new developments as well as positioning retailers retail for maximum overall experience and value.

For nearly three decades, Dan has pursued his passion for great urban environments by working on planning, investment, and development in major cities in the western U.S. He has primarily been responsible for the sourcing, structuring, entitlement, and development of large-scale dynamic mixed-use places in urban infill locations. As President of AC Development, Dan leads the company’s day-to-day operations, development execution, and project visioning. Dan has previously led his own real estate company, Urban DNA. He also held positions as Senior Vice President for McWhinney, a Colorado-based developer, and Vice President for Catellus/Prologis, a national Fortune 500 REIT where he contributed to the renowned Mission Bay project in San Francisco. In the community, Dan has served as a Boulder County Planning Commissioner, as a Boulder Urban Renewal Authority board member, and as a board member for local non-profit organizations. With the Urban Land Institute, Dan is past chair of the Colorado Council’s TOD Committee and is a charter member of the Urban Development Mixed-Use Product Council (Platinum). Dan has been a speaker nationally on sustainable urbanism and an instructor to military veterans on sustainable land development. Dan holds two undergraduate degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master in City Planning from M.I.T.

Mr. Brown brings over thirty years of experience in design and infrastructure of all commercial/industrial facilities. He oversees the operations and strategic planning for the Great Western Industrial Park. Prior to joining Broe, Mr. Brown was Director of Construction at Tejon Ranch Company and worked to development water treatment facilities and interstate crossings, among other projects. Mr. Brown has also served as a Project Manager McIntosh & Associates managing heavy industrial construction projects for major oil companies. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Montana State University with a B.S. in Construction Engineering Technology

As Executive Vice President of Development, Kirsty oversees the portolios for multifamily, build-to-rent, mixed-use and commercial in Colorado, Texas, and Utah. She oversees McWhinney’s self-managed and operated multifamily and build-to-rent assets which includes approximately 2,200 units under management and several thousand units in development. She procures new investment opportunities and works closely with the development teams during all stages of acquisition, predevelopment, entitlements, design and construction. After completing her graduate degree, Kirsty worked for Urban Green Builders in New York City, focusing on affordable housing and tax credit development. Following Urban Green Builders, she joined the Local Initiative Support Corporation (LISC) in New York City, one of the largest national organizations working to promote community revitalization and economic development in America’s cities. At LISC, she managed a program through the State of New York that provided funding to retrofit hundreds of apartment buildings throughout New York City with energy efficient components such as new windows and new boilers. Prior to joining McWhinney, Kirsty was a Development Associate at UDR, Inc. in Colorado, working on several ground-up multifamily development projects in California and Washington State. Kirsty graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan and earned a Masters of City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania with a Certificate in Real Estate Design and Development through the Wharton School of Business. Kirsty is very active in the community and is a member of the board of several non-profit organizations including the Denver Park Trust, The Delores Project and the RiNo General Improvement District. She is also a member of ULI’s Women’s Leadership Initiative and is on ULI’s Urban Development and Mixed-Use Council.

As Vice President of Construction Operations, Mark is involved with every phase of the project, from preconstruction through completion and turnover. He coordinates cost estimating, budget preparation, design development, preconstruction and construction activities as well as subcontractor negotiation. By understanding the needs of the customer, Mark is able to identify the team best suited to manage all aspects of the project and will oversee activities to ensure customer goals are achieved and the best value is recognized. Starting from the initial introduction, Mark’s goal is to provide the support and guidance required to maintain team momentum and exceed the customer’s expectations.

Mr. Sherwood is a principal and founder of Kenai Capital Advisors. He has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate investments, asset management, and capital markets. Jules is intently focused on the strategic direction of the company, strategic acquisitions, capital relationships, and asset management. Prior to creating Kenai Capital, Jules started the middle market investment sales platform in the Rocky Mountain region for Holliday Fenoglio Fowler (HFF). He represented High Net-Worth Individuals, Family Offices, Private Equity groups, and institutional investment advisors on their industrial and office holdings. During his time at HFF, Jules was a part of over $1 billion in real estate sales, financings, and equity raises. He served as the Broker of Record for HFF in 6 states. Before joining HFF, Jules opened the Denver office of Rockwood Real Estate Advisors, a New York based real estate investment advisor. At Rockwood, he led an investment sales team covering retail, office, and industrial assets across the mountain west and functioned as the broker of record for the company in more than 20 states. Prior to that, he was the regional director of real estate for the western United States for Trigild, then the largest receivership company in the country. At Trigild, he helped grow their assets under management from 200,000sf to over 20,000,000sf in under 3 years. Jules is a former Lieutenant in the United States Navy, has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Cornell University, and an MBA in finance from Arizona State University.
