• Lead facilities and space planning strategy for all offices and studios. • Successfully evaluate, analyze, negotiate and recommend commercial property leases, purchases and dispositions. • Manage the transition of properties from development/construction to operating phase. • Evaluate, develop, and implement departmental policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and standards of work performance for the staff, building, building systems, and equipment. • Facilitate and oversee office moves. • Have direct involvement in design and supervision of all studio and office construction projects. This includes vendor recommendation and negotiation. • Regularly communicate high-level real estate & studio requests, projects and concerns with Senior Executives. • Develop and track budgets for capital projects, operational expenses and internal events. • Assure projects are delivered on time / on budget. • Manage interactions with the Landlord for building services and to ensure all legal and lease obligations are met. • Manage ongoing maintenance of the offices: serve as direct contact for all vendors and building relationships. • Manage relationship and delegate projects between in-house office and facilities staff with landlord and other studio staff. • Track employee requests and department response to assure a very high level of satisfaction. • Recommend new or modified processes that improve functional efficiency and effectiveness. • Work closely with our Director of Company Life and in-house design team on all office space internal and external signage.

Dean Rostovsky is an equity partner and Director at Clarion Partners as well as an Acquisitions Officer. Based in the firm’s Los Angeles office, he oversees transaction activity across property types for the Western region. Dean sources and closes varied risk-strategy investments on behalf of Clarion’s $39 billion of client-managed accounts. Dean has experience in both the private equity and fixed income sectors of the real estate market. He re-joined Clarion Partners in 2006 and began working in the real estate industry in 1993.

Brian Folb & the Folb Family have been involved in the development and management of commercial office buildings, single/ multi-family housing and retail centers in the City of Los Angeles and particularly Hollywood for the past 50 years. Brian’s father Stanley has been considered a pioneer in bringing modern commercial office buildings to Hollywood in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s. Brian and his brother Brad have spearheaded the transition of their 6464 and 6565 Sunset Boulevard office buildings from late 1960’s technology to the highest standards available today in modern offices, including efficiency offices, high speed internet, Wi-Fi, Energy Star ratings and use of sustainable materials, while offering their tenants the highest quality in on site management and construction services. For over 3 decades, Brian has personally involved himself in just about every aspect of community service in Hollywood. He’s enjoyed working on numerous committees and special events with his colleagues at the Hollywood Chamber, the Sunset & Vine BID, Hollywood Police Support Association and the Hollywood Central Park project. Brian also loves to support local Hollywood charitable organizations like Hollywood Police Activities League, LACER, the Hollywood YMCA, Los Angeles Youth Network, Hollywood Arts and he’s firmly committed to working with the community to end homelessness in Hollywood. Brian was born in Los Angeles and has lived there his entire life. He currently lives in Toluca Lake with his beautiful wife Kate and their two Pomeranians Popcorn and Sadie. They have two adult children Aaron and Olivia who they love dearly and who also live and work in Southern California.

Mr. Friend is an Associate Director at GPI. He focuses on property acquisitions and asset management. Prior to joining GPI in 2016, Mr. Friend was with the JBG Companies, where he worked in the Development group focusing primarily on the entitlement, design, and development of mixed-use projects in Washington, DC. Mr Friend graduated with a B.A. in Business Economics with Honors from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Bea Hsu is Senior Vice President at Brookfield Properties Development and oversees a pipeline of urban residential and mixed-use projects throughout California. Brookfield is a developer, owner and operator of real estate with over $190 billion in assets under management globally, including office, retail, residential, industrial and hotel properties.   Prior her career in development, Ms. Hsu served as a senior advisor to LA City Councilmember (now Mayor) Eric Garcetti. In that position she served as staff chair for the City Council’s Housing, Community and Economic Development Committee and staff to the City Council’s Budget & Finance Committee. Ms. Hsu is a member of the Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners, a past member of the Board of Directors for Larchmont Charter Schools, the Planning Program Advisory Board of the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, and the Los Angeles Industrial Development Authority. She has been twice recognized by Bisnow as one of the 50 Most Influential Women in LA Commercial Real Estate. Ms. Hsu is a graduate of Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and history, and the University of Southern California’s Ross Minority Program in Real Estate.

Ed Miller has developed and built large master planned residential and commercial projects, from 1st time buyer housing to multi-million dollar housing tracts including apartments, office, commercial shopping and mixed use developments, hotels, marinas, assisted care facilities and over 2,500 units of apartments, condo’s and single family homes. Mr. Miller has worked with many city, state and federal agencies including HUD, Port Authorities, Army Corps of Engineers, Coastal authorities and a variety of environmental agencies. Mr. Miller has provided a wide range of specialized services to his clients including: property entitlements, general plan amendments, project master planning, project repositioning, sales and leasing, marketing, and general contractor/builder services. Mr. Miller has provided real-estate services for such companies as Mitsui, Weyerhauser, Honeywell, Namco Capital, Northrop, and MetLife. Most were developments owned or taken back from failed developer/owners. Commercial Real Estate specializing in commercial and investment real-estate with emphasis on office and shopping center leasing and sales. In 1983 Mr. Miller took a position as V.P. of Development with the Carley Capital Group with whom he had done business while at the City of St.Paul and Coldwell Banker. He took the position in Carley’s Los Angeles office. In 1984 he structured a leveraged buy out of Carley Pacific and became a 50% principal and President of a merged firm now known as Cal-Coast Development. In 1986 he restructured the company with Weyerhauser and acquired 100%.

As Senior Vice President of Development, Mark Janda is responsible for new development activity in the Southern California region. He joined the company in July of 2012. Mr. Janda has more than two decades of experience in the multifamily and mixed-use development business. Prior to joining AvalonBay, he spent 12 years at The Irvine Company, where he managed the development of over 13,000 multifamily units, including some of the largest and most capital-intensive projects ever undertaken by the company. Prior to The Irvine Company, Mr. Janda spent three years with The Macklowe Organization in New York, where his responsibilities included acquisition, finance, and development of the company’s multifamily, office and retail investments in Manhattan. He held an earlier position with Landauer Associates in New York, where his assignments included economic modeling, portfolio valuation projects and the underwriting of several REIT IPO’s. Mr. Janda started his career as a structural engineer, designing structural systems for large-scale projects, including Denver International Airport. Mr. Janda holds a Master of Science degree in Real Estate from New York University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Kansas State University. His professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute and the California Building Industry Association.

Since 2007, Mark Ventre has focused on providing solutions for owners, buyers and sellers multifamily properties and development sites in the greater Los Angeles area. Mark has sold over 2,250 apartment units and 85 acres of entitled and unentitled land, representing nearly $1B in value. His extensive knowledge of the marketplace, creative underwriting skills and his commitment to client satisfaction has helped to make Mark one of the city’s top apartment brokers. In 2017, Mark joined forces with principals and industry powerhouses Rob and Kimberly Stepp (www.steppcommercial.com) to focus on providing solutions for the private capital market in Hollywood and other prime Westside locations. Mark is committed to serving multifamily property investors by satisfying their specific needs in acquiring and selling apartment buildings, new construction projects, and development sites, as well as helping to facilitate 1031 tax-deferred exchanges. Prior to joining Stepp Commercial, Mark was a Director at Berkadia.

As President of Related California, Mr. Canori leads Related California's market rate, luxury and mixed-income residential development and strategy throughout California. He is currently overseeing a $6 billion pipeline of 7,000 multifamily and senior units, and over 1 million square feet of commercial space located in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and Orange County. He oversees an integrated development team that encompasses all aspects of development, including financial analysis, acquisition, planning and design, deal structuring, entitlements, public and private financing, construction, marketing and asset management. For the past 21 years, Mr. Canori has played a lead role in building the company's substantial portfolio of mixed-use and mixed-income developments. He is responsible for the growth of the Related California pipeline, including the development of 4,000 multifamily units with development costs in excess of $3 billion. Mr. Canori is a graduate of the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He serves on the Executive Committee for the Lusk Center for Real Estate at the University of Southern California and the Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics at the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute.

David Simon was appointed Executive Vice President, Southern California, in September 2014 after serving as Executive Vice President since March 2012 and is responsible for executing the development and repositioning of office and mixed-use projects, as well as identifying and acquiring value-add opportunities throughout Southern California. Mr. Simon was formerly a Managing Director at BRCP. Prior to joining BRCP in 2004, Mr. Simon was a Partner with Kearny Real Estate Company, a partnership originally established as a subsidiary of Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds. Previously, Mr. Simon was with the Morgan Stanley Real Estate Funds in Southern California, where he focused on acquisitions, asset management and dispositions of real estate across all asset types. Mr. Simon received a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Florida. He is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and a full member of the Urban Land Institute. He is a board member of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and a board member and trustee of the Oakwood School in North Hollywood. He previously served as a member of the board of directors and a trustee for the nonprofit Affordable Living for the Aging based in Southern California. In 2011, he established the Simon Family Drug Research Fund at the University of Alabama to promote drug research for neurofibromatosis.

Mr. Eudy is a founder and Senior Executive officer of Essex Property Trust, Inc., the proven West Coast leader in multifamily investment. Mr. Eudy oversees all development activities, from the point of acquisition through construction and stabilization. He joined Essex's predecessor, Essex Property Corporation, in 1985 and initiated the development activities of the company. During his tenure the company has developed over 15,000 multi-family units and is recognized as an industry leader. The financial performance of its development portfolio, through good cycles and bad, demonstrates a proven, disciplined approach to multifamily development. The company has also received national recognition and awards for Architectural Excellence, more than any multifamily developer in the country. Prior to joining Essex, Mr. Eudy was a Vice President in the Commercial Real Estate Investment Group of Crocker National Bank from 1980 to 1985, and Home Federal Savings from 1977 to 1980. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University in 1977, and is a graduate of the University of Southern California's Management Leadership School. Mr. Eudy is a member of the Urban Land Institute, National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and is a Board Member of the California Apartment Association.

Morgan provides strategic leadership for the Rocky Mountain district. She began her career at Milender White in the Arvada office in 2010, and just five years later, she was selected to lead the Southern California office as Construction Executive. Morgan was instrumental in the growth of Milender White in the region. She drives results through consistency, process, honesty, and clear communication. Morgan values a solution focused and team-based approach to construction. She received her bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Florida and earned her master’s degree in construction engineering & management from the University of Colorado Boulder. Morgan lives in Golden, CO with her husband and two daughters.”

He has further been involved in all aspects of Real Estate Development, public and conventional finance, strategic planning and Business Development as well as Mergers & Acquisitions. He further has a deep industry network and personal relationships which are actively managed to grow businesses and relationships while maintaining his values and focus. He has also continuously assumed leadership roles in several organizations of the construction industry as well as several charitable, academic and civic organizations.
